Question re: hooking whip to bong via gong connection...

I am trying to hook my extreme to my bong, however my bongs female piece is not ground glass.
Are their different kinds of adapters?
can i just buy a new female piece that is ground glass?
Who's a reliable retailer to deal with within canada who offers these products?

I have taken a look at his ETSY store, very nice stuff!

However, his pieces all appear to be designed to adapt to a bong with a 14mm or 18mm ground glass female piece. The bong i hope to use has a normal glass female piece that doesn't appear to be same shape as the ground glass inlets.
