Question for those who owned tried more than 1 vaporizor.

My herbalizer compliments everything due to its instant heat up time. Works great for when I can't wait for the heat up of a more tasty MV, VHW or Evo. It's also my first grab for something easy to transport to another part of the house.

As I'm sure with all of us, our routines change a bit over time.

My current routine is using the MV as my primary vape and using the MFLB for maintenance hits. I only use the LSV now to revape the remains from the MV for total extraction. I'm usually only able to get about one and half LSV hits from 2 spent flexicone loads.

I love my LSV, but the MV is just more efficient in that I use less bud to get to the same high............for me.

My usage changes according to day/night, and where I'm at in the house. I don't vape on the main level, but I use my sublimator dry in the basement office during the daytime. I use my infinity through water in the attic bedroom, which is best at night. No waiting/power outage is firefly or lotus, and for portable the crafty. That's the entire regular rotation, I have a handful of other vapes that I just use occasionally.

I think the best combo would be the UD + Hammer + Firewood.

Each work with UD stems and each have their own conveniences. All in all same performance is available.

A vape for all reasons...

ENano is my bedside beast... flavor, dry hits, it puts me to sleep and it wakes me up, depending on what I put in my adjustable-screen Gongs or the Bamboo stem... it's also lovely for long afternoons vapor dabbing some concentrate... I can get hours of relaxation!

ElevapeSV is my work beast. Stealth to the max, for me, with instant hits when I need them. No smell. No mess. I rarely clean the thing, just dump, blow back the dust (both openings), and reload/recharge.

Vapman is amazing. With the (currently on hiatus) Vapman Station, sipping the flavor of flowers is amazing. Hash is, indeed, worthwhile in the VM. Great for when I want to focus on medicating, as it is a mindful way to vape (with the torch). Tiny crucible, huge results.

VXL EVO... this is the vape that sits, unused, most of the time. Occasional use, mostly as a demonstration of vaporizing. If I want to seriously "chase clouds" I can load it up and use the HT... it's been awhile.

I basically buy vapes that compliment my other vapes. There are a lot of really solid products that just wouldn't fit with my usage.

Right now I have 6 vapes or so - a firefly, an air, a solo (that's probably on permanent loan to a buddy now that I have my air), a crafty I just got last week, an underdog and a classic volcano. I've owned 3-4 others which I sold fairly quickly when I learned they weren't for me.. I'm missing a "true" (hate when people say that, but don't know how to describe otherwise) portable, but I have a preorder for the grasshopper in so I'm hopeful that can take the position and maybe even replace my firefly as well. My air gets the most use, then the crafty, then the underdog. The rest get used significantly less. Preference for ingesting your vapor is important too - the volcano is amazing but I just really don't like bags, especially compared to glass so I use mine a lot less than I used to.

I'm definitely a big believer that most vape users should have at least one desktop and one portable though. That's a good starting place.

I have an E-Nano for home use, and a Storm portable vape for out the house. I also have a Lotus which serves as a back-up for the other two (like when I can't be bothered to wait for the E-Nano to heat up or the Storm is out of battery).

I also have a Solo, but think I'm gonna sell it as it just doesn't get used anymore.

I'm curious to enchantre nor using the hammer as well..I think it is amazing little vape..and I own quite a few different ones but it is awesome dry and probably my hardest hitter through water and I have a lotus a mighty..a lily..etc..

I love my Solo for around the house, mostly after I've accomplished things and am ready for some couch lock. This kind of makes the Solo my nightly, non-stealth vape. Its also my, gettin ready for a run/jog vape when I want to be really baked for the long run and don't expect to do anything after the run but eat and veg out.

I love my MFLB for anywhere where serious stealth is key AND around the house during the day when I just want a quick, non-cloudy, priming of the buzz base when I need to get things done. I may also use the MFLB to top off a already established buzz from the Solo.

I could live just fine with one vape but why not expand ones usage methods if you want.

MFLB is what I use when I am taste hunting, usually away from the house or just running around for a few hours.

Solo, out and about for longer periods or visiting for a buzz.

Nano for at home when feeling lazy and just want to run a few puffs through water.

LSV, big boy toy with lots of air path mods for big boy hits. It even lives in its own toy box.

I frequently swap between my herbalizer, underdog, ascent, haze, and FM 5.0 Pro. I recently purchased the Cloud EVO from a great member of this forum and am trying to work it into the rotation, but I am finding it awkward to hold a little until I find a way to insulate that hot top, and I'm still getting used to avoiding the whistle when I draw on the unit. It will find its way in soon, but I am sure enjoying my time with my UD.

The neoprene sleeve does a good job IMO. It can still get hot at the top if you keep turning it back on as soon as it times out, but I have no problem handling it at the middle to bottom parts, where it's quite a bit cooler.

I use the EVO and e-nano almost exclusively at home, depending on my mood. Since the EVO is handy, I almost never feel the need to use the nano with glass, but if I'm in the mood for smaller hits, that's what I pick up.

pax2: used most daily, because of its effectiveness, size, batter life and ease of use

mighty: favorite vape, carried with me daily until I realized that's not what it's made for plus sessions take longer than I like when on the go

Crafty: girlfriend loaner, but will use in a specific situation or if the mighty is charging

Arizer solo: use every night at least once and enjoy the flavor and conservation

vapor genie coil: love for the heat up time, better for indoor water pipe use but I purchased it as a 'fast session' solution for on the go

davinci ascent: just chillin now, might get a resurrection soon

Magic flight launch box: just chillin' use in emergency or just for shit and giggles every now and then

I pretty much rotate my MiniVap, LSV and EVO at home with different types of glass. I rarely use one two days in a row. These are pretty much the only vapes I use at home and most times these are used before bed.

I use my Haze, ESV, Crafty and Air while out. Once and a while I will throw the Indica in the mix too.

Eventually I'm going to pick up a nice torch vape for off the grid work and right now I'm leaning towards the Lotus. Then I think I'll just about have everything covered! Lol

It's a great vape now, but I had to hack it to save (and then improve) it so I can't recommend the route I had to take. The 2.0 model seems nice except the timer, but some find the sub impractical and/or unsafe.

Does it make a pinch of flowers as powerful as a dab as I heard advertised? The sub is my dream vape I don't think I'll ever own, I also want the herbalizer that may be more realistic.

Back when vaporizing was less well known, I used to hear the question a lot - 'does a vape improve the quality of mediocre herb?' The answer is no. It just produces heat and makes vapor. The Sublimator doesn't have any high tech secret technology either, no matter what you hear.

I have a Da Buddha, Arizer Solo, and a Wychwood. They are all pretty solid and all get the job done in their own way.

For the longest time I didn't use the DBV unless I wanted to get really high because I saw it as wasteful, wychwood was the daily driver for about 2 years until a few months ago when I realized I could just use less plant in DBV. Just because a bowl is big doesn't mean it needs to be half packed. I find covering the screen is more than enough and is the most efficient way of using it IMO, if you are using high grade meds.

It is also good for low grade weed if the bowl is half packed because of the decent bowl size and just because its plain good at what it does.
Arizer solo is social for friends mostly. I find it to be a really slow vape but thorough, and this makes it good for passing.

The wychwood doesnt get used much.. A few hits a day, I use it when i want to torch a small pinch in a bong
If I could keep only one, i wouldn't be able to choose. DBV for its functionality but the wychwood has sentimental value and they will probably never make another one again

Next vape will be a torch one, not too expensive, just to give it a try.

My bad...wasn't trying to get off topic and I know there isn't a magical vaporizer either. From what I thought I understood was the density and taste of the vapor was thick and the closest to smoke...so it's something I definetly want to try and was curious because I didn't see it at the top of @grokit 's line up...but thanks for the clarity

As a former owner of all of the "big three", I kept my sub and would buy another evo setup before another herbalizer. Everybody has different needs though, and the herbalizer is the king of versatility and safety.

Well I have purchased an Arizer EQ and a BIOSMOKER since starting this discussion. Biosmoker broke on me first week and I am awaiting a warranty on an Arizer EQ due to a PCB and/or fan problem. The EQ is the full convection I wanted. But I wasn't counting on having to send it back. Sigh. However, I have taken the whip that came with the EQ and used it with my portables.
(PAX 1,Summit, Flowermate VT1.0) Once I can afford an Arizer Air and an "off the grid", then there will be no excuse for combustion when I am out alone.

What vaporizers do you own that "contrast and compliment" each other?

Obvious owning a favorite tabletop and a separate portable would be a simple example of this.
But any models more specifically and why?

I'll start it...

My everyday portable but mostly around the house - PAX
Outdoors, lightweight, mini flashlight. - Summit
Simple design with large oven. No worries, even If I loose it. (Cause I paid $53.00 for it) - Flowermate VT1.0

Forget to charge the Pax. Use the Summit's Pass thru.
Need to use the lowest temps - Summit. Revape light ABV. Use the flowermate. (perhaps)
Don't feel like bringing a second battery bank, then bring and drain the Flowermate 1st.

I'm sure most of you can come up with wider examples.

Well, I've updated my sig and widened my circle of contrast and complimentary vapes. Sure others have done so in there own manner.
The last post was mine when I sent the EQ back. Before my CFX, Curly UD, 2 EVOs, and the 2 Dynacaps. Vowed to get an off the grid vape for over two years.

Compatibility points-
I can use my ELB's with my CFX. Desktop <-> Portable

Use EQ to dry EVO's hydratube

Socket compatibility on most of my vapes. Bought a special glass adapter so my EVO and UD can work together in my Do20-d. Like a lot of veteran FCers have done before me.

Good Contrast-
EVO - auto shut off which is needed for heated glass. No-Brainer

UD - always ready so It can start things when the EVO heats up

'M' - Anywhere I can use a lighter, If I'm warming up the UD.

Possible Outside projects- nonvape with a vape.
Might make candles melting beeswax with the UD's copper pot.

Essential oil extracts with the EQ.

Others; Natural bug repellent. herbal vape blend of anything bugs dislike. Lavender

Lip balm, skin protection, weatherproofing wax.
