found a lil hack, when you pick off the mouthpiece, you can wrap it in some kitchen towel and use it to clean the bowl. fits good.

OTOH one of the 4 latches of the mouthpiece actually broke earlier so I have to hold my finger on it to get sure there is no air leakage.

A glass mp that I got from Jeremy, broken after heavy use, hi hi, coupled with a mp from an air stem. The fenix with swappable battery and a glass mp would be perfect for my needs, but still does the job.

I just bought one of these one week ago and I have to say that it is very good for the price. Value for money vaporizer!
Does amyone know if I can remove the bowl's screen for cleaning. I didnt tried yet and I am wondering.

Hey now. Had this vape for 3-4 months now, watched all of thread b4 buying, found it as ' tsunami eruption' in local oasis headshop for 140$ somehow talked the guy down to 110$. Felt kinda cool but 60 would have been better. Didn't feel like waiting. Impressed at first, not used to the long 10 second hit thing but quickly adjusted. Thing is tho.... On the fence about how healthy or not this thing is. I wonder if how crazy this thing slams me at 'red' temp isn't some weird plastic - off gassing involved. A little wary of this thing now.. Gonna put it up for a bit and stick to my workhorse edc- pulsar apx with pinnacle WPA mouthpiece mod. A 60 dollar vape that will wreck your face( plus 20$) for pinnacle MP. I just used it cuz I had it, would go a better route these days MP wise. Anyway on to vapcap' m' land....... See ya plastic!

Hey bud, honest ly f3el like I was being a bit paraniodal . been reading a lot I mean lotsa FC so much cool shit to absorb about specialized subjects I always speculated about but no experience with. I personally think the fenix works great. But I feel like the red temp is only one that gives satisfied vapor hit and I find it strange that my pulsar apx feels like i t cooks way hotter but lighter (re vapeable) abv than dark produced by feenix onred setting. Gotta be ceramic bowl in apx vs SS in feenix. Sorry but with intensive study of both units pulsar seems more my style. Love that conduction hit I guess. Guess I didn't realize to burn off after each bowl ,cooks off the crumbs that get trapped under bottom chamber screen. Love the vape just suspicious of questionable materials I'm breathing in

Same thing happened to my mouthpiece recently and now its not working well. Anybody know where I can find a replacement mouthpiece from a retailer in Canada?

I've had my Fenix now for about a month. Own a MLFB & Pax2. I saw a video where a guy does a burn off at the highest setting with the vape partially disassembled & there looked to be some glue or something burning off.

With the Fenix likely being produced in the same factory as other vapes & being similar in design I'm wondering if this or any of the Chinese vapes are safe to use? Really like this vape but am I being paranoid? I never use it the max temp & rarely even the 3rd.

I bought 3 of this unit (when they first hit the U.S., at <$50), and did a couple of burn offs on each. I didn't see a thing. Smelled a very slight robot fart, but it disappeared on all of them within the first bowl or two.

I'm not knowledgeable enough to get all technical, but I don't feel that using them is unsafe for me. Now, cook a little left-behind ISO, and it'll have me freaking out, 'cause that's just plain nasty!.....Ask me how I know.

BTW, I've bought several vapes since I picked these up, and I still prefer this one for two purposes; taking it to bed for middle-of-the night sleep assistance, and for out-and-about. Around home, I prefer full convection.

No shit developed a weird chest congestion cough while using only this unit for a week. Put it up, cough went away. Could be coincidence, could be just me, could be inhaling some bullshit chemical. Any body else use it on high temp and get a chest cough??.don't think it's paranoia to be safe...

I just went back to the manufacturer's site and noted: "Fully Isolated Air path, when you smoke the air will come into the chamber directly through the food grade metal path , more safe." Seems to me if the path is isolated, any glue or stuff that could possibly burn off shouldn't be able to get into your vapor. I really like this vape a lot so hate to bag it.

The "bottom screen" appears to be contiguous with the whole stainless steel bowl and isn't removable as far as I can tell.

Get some medical grade cotton and put that in the pod. Then add a few drops of oil or ejuice.

Just soak it (the whole bowl) in ISO alcohol, and then give a quick wipe around with cotton bud.

Love this thing. You just gotta charge it a bit extra, so you can do a 'burn off' before you really vape a bowl. Run that bad boy one full cycle on red and pop the cu off here and there to see how much abv dust you are incinerating. You gotta burn off the old dust before you can hit a new pack IMO. Love this vape when I wanna get slammed after work all night and I finally get back to hotel. Less overall smell than my conduction vapes it seems. Oh and organic cotton( for e cigs) is your best buddy here. Vape almost requires it. Just put a bit in your cu under MP. Ialso put a bit onto cu screen filling extra space in bowl as spacer / filter of sorts. Seems to stick rite there thru multiple bowls as a spacer / filter. Happy guy since this mod- no more hacking cough .would be happy to try degummed HF but will try that from dynavap when ti omni s come back in stock. Organic vape cotton for now tho. Cheers, D
