I don't have fb but I was able to read the comments, I see they constantly repeat the same thing to each person, like an automatic recording, email, fb, phone, hopefully everyone will actually be getting theirs soon, I will not be purchasing anything else from gv, to me it was too much of a hassle. And my last order they didn't even provide stickers, and some retailers just send theirs, idk that's lame, I spend all that money and you can't even kick down some stickers for me to promote?

I just got a shipping notice from gotvape saying that they are sending me a free Puffit wall charger. I thought that was a pretty nice gesture. On another note a stirring/packing tool is a must for the Puffit to get maximum enjoyment but the tool that comes with it kind of sucks. Does anyone have any good suggestions for an alternate stirring/packing tool? ideally one with a solid tamper end(unlike the included tool).

Sure, two suggestions, both traditional pipe tools. First is the classic:

The second, the more modern version, better in the pocket, more like a pen knife:

So I got my puffit today, I haven't even used it yet. I pulled it out and it came with a wall charger(and cord), a grinder, and this time some stickers! also a in cap stir tool, and outer stir tool, 4 mouth pieces, 4 lil screens, and a silicon lid cap. I wish they would include a backup cap with the magnetic piece inside it because I do find myself losing that eventually....

I'm bout to pack and a bowl and let'm rip! Get back to you all...

Update after using it..
Well I totally get that weird taste....kind of reminds me if I licked a inflatable ball or something lol. No dense or even visible clouds yet, I guess it takes practice to figure out how to use it to its full potential. Gotta keep a soda or a mint on hand while using this at first. Rank taste. Also mine stands up

So the 3rd bowl I smoked, I only filled it about half way, and I didn't get ANY visible smoke. I had it only 7 even. And then took a couple of hits and I could taste the herb, like if you were dry hitting a joint, and still a plastic taste that also gave me a headache (maybe they should include a warning for this)

4th bowl, much better results. I packed the bowl almost to the top, packed it down nicely, even used the stir tool in the cap and put the dial to 8. Oh my goodness I am lit! That was probably the best 5 hits I've taken from a portable vape (lol this one is my first portable vape I've ever used) so my rating so far....8 outta 10, it'll never get 10/10 because of the headache it first caused. But it's a pretty darn good vape, I will be using it often

I would also like to point out, it makes my herb, the ABV a dark dark brown, unlike my volcano, maybe because I don't need it on such a high setting to get visible vapor? But I reuse ABV to smoke a second time, but with the puffit ABV, I will not be reusing..

Well they don't have drug dogs at scanning line . . .

This is bad advice, completely inaccurate, and could possibly get someone hurt. DEA is always at the scanning lines at just about every airport I go through, with dogs. Of course things are tighter at international terminals but once you are in line, and you see the dog, its too late, you're screwed. Now some dogs are trained for explosive residue, others drugs, the little patches on the uniforms of the cops give a clue as to what they might be looking for but the point is you are in a controlled and focused environment, no escape should you attract any attention by reacting to the dogs, oh and they do watch your reaction . . .

Yeah, the tool is fairly worthless. I have no idea why they are sending a charger. Maybe they ran out when they gave them out free to others?

Thanks for the suggestion, but I have no Iolite. I just have the Volcano classic and the Puffit.

Yeah, I've vaped 4 bowls through it and the taste is still pretty bad. I am surprised it is not stronger because when I pull off the cap the chamber smells really bad and chemically. I am praying it goes away like others have said it does. My suggestion for getting any enjoyment at all from the Puffit is to grind REALLY fine and pack REALLY tight. I am getting to the point where I see visible vapor at heat setting 7 for the first few puffs. Good luck, I don't love the unit, but practice does make perfect.

My backordered status has changed to processing too. Sales rep said my order will probably ship from NJ tomorrow. We'll see. I ordered on July 12, 4 days after Jenny, who has hers now.

For sure I'm going to load with pure mint leaves until the smell everyone mentions is gone. No inhale, just puff and blow.

I'll post when I get a shipped notice. And do a review like others when I get mine.

Well I am in Cali and someone mentioned that they shipped out those first? Idk it's all whack IMO.

And I soooooo should have done the mint leaves, I tried two bowls and it was very eh...and then the battery died...

I have not seen any yet. My ABV is just a med brown temp seting at 7 and I tugged on it was past any vape just to degass.
Six bowls and still plastic. I wonder if it the silicon/plastic around the top of the bowl. Not that it matters and mine came from the batch in NJ with no charger

I leave it on setting # 7 and get about 2 bowls worth before the battery dies. The only downfall is the battery takes about 2 1/2 to 3 hours to charge up from being completely dead. I'm using Apple's 10W iPad charger not the smaller iphone charger.

I think it's all the silicone used in the Puffit. The silicone ring around the bowl, the silicone tubing in the air path, ( they should of used glass ) the silicone top cap insulator, and even the plastic mouthpiece has the same plastic smell.

Hi, try filling the Puffit all the way and then packing the blend down. I like a big first hit so i take the mouthpiece cap off , push the top in till it flashes red and then wait till it turns green then wait until it turns solid red and do another cycle until its green again and then take my hit. I keep mine set at almost 7. Don't focus on how much vapor you're producing, just hold your hits in. Everyone is getting medicated off this unit. Don't worry that you can't stand it up, a packed bowl stays packed.

Alright, I'm finally getting something out of this puffit. I've packed it super fine and super tight and let it do a cycle without a pull(set on 7). There is definitely a learning curve with this device so i'm still not 100% satisfied yet, but i do plan on getting to know it much better. I have a couple of shows and a party this weekend so i'll get to take it out and i'll let you all know.

That's so the person you're quoting (and who's post you're responding to) gets an alert advising them so they can find and respond to you. Not everyone follows every post on threads they post on. For example, you quoted from me above, but because you deleted that part I wasn't given the alert to know that, I found it by random chance as a new post here. Probably best to leave them in if you want to have an exchange of ideas?

No pictures but a few posts up I give my opinion of my experience with the puffit and even commented on the ABV, just scroll up a bit

This is not good??? What is up with this??? I thought we were told many more sessions than 2 bowls worth???? Worried now this is turning into the T1 and Evo kind of issue...

I might be off on this, the "issue" is short battery life? Not really the same animal IMO since the T1 and Evolution can be 'recharged' (with fresh batty change) in a few seconds with bowl changes 'all day long'. Here it's what a dozen bowls a day max? Probably plenty for most users?

Small batteries are popular, but are small batteries. If they're internal you're SOL when they go flat and so are you......
