i'm new to this forum, and i am, like most of you, waiting for the puffit, guess where i did preorder, also i live in europe and i think i will wait a little longer than some of you, (ordered on june 24)
but, for those very impatients who did not already preorder at gotvape, i found something interesting just a few minutes ago:

Strange to me they only gave it a 4 out of 5 starts for price.. My god this is cheaper then just about any portable out there and the $139 price was one of the main reason I took a chance and pre-ordered. Most with these features start at $199 and go up... If the puffit becomes a popular unit(Like I think it will) a lot of other vape companies not going to like its price...
I agree about the price... thats why i jumped on the pre-order too. it's not that much more than a MFLB and i have one of them (and i hate it and want to sell it). so i am hoping that it's better than that one.

Black inhaler covers exist like the one in the photo Pakalolo posted, but i still stand by my statement that no pharmaceutical company in the United States markets an MDI that is black.

I live in Canada, and the one you referred to here is Australian. Your point is well-taken, however, since this shouldn't be about whether such an inhaler colour exists but whether it is common. Since it clearly is not, the important thing here is that knowledgeable people will know that the black PuffIt is probably not a normal inhaler. On the other hand, most people will not know this, and knowledgeable people who see you use it (as opposed to lying around) will know immediately that it's not an asthma inhaler regardless of colour, even if it is Ventolin blue. You'll be busted way more often for the length of your hit than you will be for the colour.

Took about an hour to charge up to full. The new battery charge indicator works as advertised.
Things I like after half a dozen hits:
The unit really is a marvel. I'm going to have no problem taking this pretty much every except for work and the airport. This will fool concert/sporting event security easily. In fact, I'm going to take it to the Patton Oswalt show tonight!
It heats up quickly and provides nice wispy clouds in the 6-7 range and pretty solid clouds at level 8.
Nicely medicated after 6 puffs.
Things I don't like after half a dozen hits:
The unit gets really warm at max (8) setting. It's even hot to the touch through the included silicone guard.
I'm getting that slight plasticky taste Like dogman noted with his unit from the first shipment. I don't know if my unit made it through before the extra curing process that Andrew talked about, but the taste is definitely there for me. It is much worse at max setting than it is in the 6-7 range.
Pretty stoked to have it, but hope this plasticky taste goes away at some point. I thought about just burning it through a few times without herb in the heating chamber to burn out the taste, but the instructions explicitly say not to use it with an empty heating chamber. I don't want to waste the medicine to run it through so I guess I'll just deal with it for now. As I type this I am getting a mild headache. I hope that isn't from the "plasticyness"

I'm happy for you, yet worried. That plastic taste can NOT be a good thing IMO, and now im a bit timid.....
