ugh. thinking about cancelling preorder and getting a Solo instead. Mynameismud did you have any issues getting your refund?

Ordered it on 5/22 same as some that got theirs. What a bummer this has become

No issues with refund, took a couple days to appear on credit card but i also dealt with vapornatiom not got vape

Also I dont think people are as mad about the delays as they are about how gotvape is handling it. I mean no news or updates and someone contacted them on July 2nd and they respond with the PuffiT is sscheduled to begin shipping July 1st

Swell. Color coded. Didn't we have this discussion a while ago? Why didn't you just do something like make if flash one to five times depending on charge???

We're sorry if we've excluded anybody. It was most certainly not intentional. It's feedback like this from users and potential users that makes it possible to evolve a design and bring out better products in the future! thanks for the feedback.
We actually tested a couple of different LED lighting patterns and this one was the most intuitive to users and we were trying to stick with the Discreet ethic so we kept the LED indicator small and unobtrusive.

I think you will LOVE the Solo... I would highly(No pun intended) recommend also picking up one of the PVHES High efficiency Stems sold by Planet Vape.. I dont have one as they are all sold out but have one on Backorder.. They are all the rage over on the Solo Thread.. Read the last 5 or 6 pages and you will see what I mean.. I have also heard Ed's Custom Solo Stems are great as well..

Let us know how you like it once you get it..

Before you get all upset with Got Vape, you should be aware that that they cant ship until WE do. And as I have said before. We have only shipped a small pilot run of units. (Much smaller than demand, and some of em got hung in customs)
SO....We are behind schedule. There have been delays in getting the first full production off the ground, mostly due to trying to get all the bugs sorted Out ( manufacturing in China is never easy) and makeing sure we are shipping good items..

This is the shit that drives me crazy about GotVape. I am not mad about the availability part so much(brand new item/shit happens) but about how bad GotVape has handled the situation. Whenever I contact them about my order they send me the same generic message that Puffits began shipping on or before July 1st. I would like something more from them than a pre-made response: a brief explanation(like Andrew was kind enough to give), an apology, anything.

I unfortunately had to go one vs the other right away, then due to performance I decided I wanted Ed to get me a nice one for the mflb, and ordered another solo one too cause I couldn't imagine having to use stock if i lost it......

They're that much better......and for portability, glass breaks

The draw is smooth on the Puffit. I'm used to inhalers so it was easy to use. Just get a good seal on the mouthpiece. Can't compare it to a Solo, i'm basically just using this, the DaVinci and the Cano once and a while now. It's a great portable.

How does it compare to the iolite (annihlate it?), and the mflb (love that draw)?

The Iolite is a good vape, but it's not quiet and not very stealth.I think the Iolite gives bigger clouds of vapor but it's one temp only. The Puffit is totally quiet, i can control the temp and you get good visible vapor at the 6-8 range on the dial. I prefer the effects of the Puffit to the Iolite. I can't compare it to the MFLB, i don't use it, i tried it again last week which just reminded me why i don't use it.

For sure none of mine are that way, at least until they get really really fouled inside and need cleaning. I currently own two, but have sold two others to friends who just had to 'have one of these right away'.

FWIW if the production really is less than Iolite, this might be an issue for some folks, many are not happy with the Iolite production (even if it does draw easy). It's a very subjective area IMO. Many are quite happy with 'lesser clouds'.

The airflow on the Puffit is much better than the airflow on an Iolite, but the Iolite has thicker clouds. I think the Puffit is going to be more of a 'getting it into concerts' vaporizer rather than an everyday driver, but it is nice for a small group of friends to share while they are out and about. The stealthy nature of the Puffit is what puts it a notch up in my book, and I really do like the better airflow.

I just received my Solo yesterday, and amazed is the only word I can use to describe it. The very first draw after charging it was awesome, I finished a whole stem and was absolutely wasted for several hours afterwards. After only using it twice, I also feel that if you only wanted to purchase one vaporizer, the Solo would be an excellent choice.

The Puffit still trumps the Solo on draw speed, bit the clouds are much whispier with the Puffit, but the Puffit fits into a nice little category for public vaping, the Solo and Iolite do not have that stealthy nature.

I am certainly happy with my Puffit purchase, knowing what I know now, I would still love to have one if I didn't own one, it is a kick ass public vape, and does a very good job of medicating. The fact that the Puffit doesn't create huge clouds is an extra bonus IMO just for the fact that it is a stealthy vape, and large clouds from an inhaler would take away from its stealthy nature.

I feel very lucky to have found this forum, I have only purchased one vaporizer (before FC) that I was disappointed with, and that would be to Vapbong. Thanks to the honest, open forum here I have been able to weed out the crappy ones I was interested in (Atmos Raw) and invest my money into excellent working, quality vapes.

I wish I could thank everyone individually for all the help, you all have made my vaping experience much better, and as I look over my collection, I am thankful that there is only one that I will never use again.

Thank you OF, I feel the same way about you. Your experience and wisdom have helped me in many areas when it comes to vaping and equipment, your advice and comments are invaluable IMO.

I am 51 and it still amazes me the bond one can form with people one has never met. It is a shame we all live so far apart from each other. A Fuckcombustion party would be great, to be able to sit down with friends and vape and chat together and discuss and try our favorites.

Its funny that the units are scheduled to ship on Monday at the latest....but according to got vape they already went out July 1st, and if the company is still making changes and admitted they havent shipped as of tuesday the 2nd, I highly doubt gotvape will get a shipment by monday ready to distribute.

And the airflow on the iolite was horrible, but the wisprs airflow is much better, definetly better than the solo...
