Is it ok to toss the Puffco Plus chamber in some ISO?

I want to get the black out of the bottom of the chamber.

Qtips clean the walls well enough, but do nothing to that nasty black circle in the bottom of the chamber.

I'm thinking a quick bath in 99% ISO and a clean water rinse would take care of it. Or maybe the PBW cleaner that is so highly regarded for glass pieces?

Not to worry, I can assure you that it sounds like your Plus chamber is functioning as intended. It is normal for the bottom of your Plus chamber to blacken or darken over time, just as a ceramic nail typically would after some use. This should not in any way affect the overall performance of the chamber itself.

This can be done with the wipe of a cotton swab dipped in ISO.

my experience with the Plus: The + has been my daily concentrate driver for a long time now. I rotate btwn 2 + batteries, a mod and 5 + chambers - tasty, dense clouds every time. Oil, shatter, wax. Proper loading & maintenance is the key to a very low failure rate. For me, the difference btwn using herbalizer ss concentrate pad and the + is night-day.

Thanks, this is what i was looking for! I bought one from a local headshop but it ended up having a broken “dart” so i returned it. They were out of stock so i have to wait to get my new one. In the meantime ive considered buying something else for the wax but if its that legit then i will wait for my plus to come in!

Yes. You just need an ego to 510 adapter. Any ecig shop should have them.

ego... MEH.. wtf. Puffco should up their game and make a 510 chamber as well as double skinned mouthpiece design (like in the Yocan Magneto) to remove the heat issue.

I recently got a Terp Pen, and while convenient, it's not at all satisfying for sneaky OTG hits... looking for something better and was considering getting this. Form factor is a big plus for me. I'm a longtime Peak user - just not sure if I should bother with this.

Puffco finally got back to me yesterday. They are going to send me a replacement atomizer. I hope that solves the problem.

The real key to extending Puffco ceramic chamber lifespan, is when doing a big deep clean, hold it upside down, so the alcohol doesn't leak down thru lower seam between walls and lower heating floor.

Also, do not put ANY downward pressure onto the lower heating plate. Ever. The floor will drop right out like the GRAVITRON lol

I don’t have a Terp Pen but if you want the same convenience I think you would find the Boundless CF-7 more satisfying. It works the same way but the form factor is a little on the large side. It is capable of massive hits and also very tasty hits. I like that you get both quartz and ceramic coils, I find the quartz gives better flavor and the ceramic provides bigger hits. The only real negative besides the size is that it is so convenient and works so well you can run through your material very quickly. I got mine from @PuffItUp.

Sorry to hear that! I actually had a good time with this pen, my main issue was I always loaded too much out of laziness and it would leak a little bit. I love these pens, the sesh mode is great for carts too if you use them.

With that being said, if you can get something like the DTV4 and a small box mod it will not have any leaking issues, it just won’t be as subtle when you’re ripping it.
