I love this one

That dabber looks awesome. I would definitely buy it, if not for the $30 shipping to US.

Dunno if these are any good or not... Seems like two different store fronts for the same shop to me but it might be worth a shot of they reply to emails?

I ordered this one a few days ago to try out... will report back after it's arrived. Thanks for sharing!

I took mine on a trip for my buddy's wedding and got him properly baked after the ceremony (with the bride's approval). I had both preloaded in my shirt pocket and nobody had a clue. One of my other buddies that joined the session thought they were cigar tubes. Lots of praise from everyone that tried and I made it through the full day with both on a single charge though I had a backup battery with me if needed. Very happy with the purchase still and now I'm trying to get my buddy to get one (or two hah). My affinity for the Pivot is only increasing....

Got my Pivot yesterday. I've ordered a piece. Can't wait to try it outside the bar with a pint, on Friday.

I'll hunt around for a TM2 stem to use.

Same here. I’m loving this little beast. Being able to dab almost anywhere is awesome. Fits into many different scenarios. Beach, tailgating, parties, etc….
And all you need is your pivot, concentrate, dabber, and cotton swabs.

I'll hunt around for a TM2 stem to use.
You’ll need to cut a hole in the TM2 stem to use it with the pivot (for airflow).

Did a few bowls outside the bar last night.

A few random impressions in no particular order.

This is not a replacement for carts. Even live resin or live rosin carts.

It's easy to clean the bowl after a hit. Dry swabbing with cotton swab, was enough for the next bowl.

First bowl was on red, a bit much.

All other bowls were on green. Was easier on my chest.

The Pivot mouth piece does smell after use. Iso soak for 20 minutes made it smell less.

20 minute iso soak for the bowl, and there is still a smell, significantly less, but still present.

Much less prep and cleaning while on the go, than a Pockety (completely different experience).

The silicone mouthpiece does impact the taste (waiting on a Simple Human mouthpiece).

This will be part of my rotation for portable devices.

Interesting, do you mean that the silicone has a smell you can detect from a distance or if you hold it up to your nose?

I have yet to soak any of my mouthpieces and have only done dry swabs of the chamber and once with a 99 ISO soaked qtip I wiped the chamber and up in the top-inner housing of the silicone early on when I was a bit messy from inhaling too hard. Mine have a light scent up close that you'd only know if you do this but no smell. I leave them out on my dresser too regularly while charging for long periods including overnight and my super smeller wife has not said a word.

Are you getting a lot of oil up into the silicone? If so, you're pulling on it too hard. I haven't had more than a spec or two beyond the bottom of the ring that sits above the chamber since the first week so I wonder if that has something to do with it? Either way I hope you figure it out or I continue to stay lucky.

I can even leave both of these out loaded with most strains I have on hand without a detectable smell (until they start heating up, that is).

I saw Simple Human added a bubbler... I am trying to figure out if that's even a need for this device... I guess if you want to live in the red and white but I've gone back to green with a boost here and there and, with that and Granny mode on blue, I'm one relaxed and happy camper.

What's different about hitting it direct vs using with glass and the adapter (or the SH bubbler attachment) if you are consistently using up most the oil in a session and staying comfortable on heat? I have this potential hole that wants to burn in my pocket but it doesn't have enough fuel for the fire yet....

The silicone mouthpiece has a smell a few inches from my face.

I have a Skunk Bag that works great. I have no concerns bringing this to work. I won't medicate while working, though.

For me, with the wpa, the main differences is cooler vapor, can go higher temps, and better mouth feel (I mainly use a j hook).
I use my pivot at home a lot, so being able to connect to various glass pieces is a plus.

The stock mouthpiece does an excellent job at cooling the vapor while still being comfortable on the lips. It’s also cool enough to handle after a bowl……. But…… a glass MP will get the silicone out of the vapor path, which may have better flavor. Will it cool the vapor enough? Will you be able to handle it after a bowl? Idk. Only one way to find out. You can spend between $15-$500, so something for everyone. I spent $100 on my flame tip, and should hopefully have it at the end of the week. Will report the pros and cons once tested.

Finally got a Pivot. For me (a micro dabber) the hype is real. It's not as good as a Proxy or DTv5 for larger dabs. But for my consumption style it's a great device 👍👍

I'm thinking the reason it works with a short vapor path is the reduced banger size.

Not sure about the "cart killer" aspect. But maybe in certain circumstances. I generally only take one hit when out and about anyway. The problem is... it's big enough to require a bag.

I used a cart for the first time in a month this weekend, and I wished I had just packed the pivot. It was, however, much easier to ride a bike and use a cart but I think I would have gotten more enjoyment out of a single pivot dab than trying to milk a cart.

I've been enjoying this case, It's smell-proof and compact but large enough for everything you need. I use the front pouch for clean q-tips, inside goes the pivot, hot knife, 2 jars and inner pouch for dirty qtips

I....... don't hate that

Though the real solution is for fanny packs to make a comeback
