PSA: Stay away from "Dabble Extracts" if you're in Colorado

I bought 3 grams of these guy's shatter and it is absolute garbage...it can't be safe to dab. Tastes like pure chemicals and leaves a pile of crap on the nail just as big as the dab...not even sure how that's possible. I tried talking civilly with the makers on facebook and the guy literally tried to tell me it's leaving a nasty black pile of ash because my nail isn't hot enough. He recommended I buy an e-nail just to use his product properly.

Did you get any sulpher like chemical taste/smell? A sulpur burner in the grow room could cause something like this.

Not really sure what sulphur tastes or smells like but it definitely tastes terrible. Almost tastes plastic/rubbery

Your an idiot, you must have absolutely nothing to do or you work for a competitor I have been dabbing medically for my epilepsy for several years now and have had my Red Card for 6 years total. Dabble is by far the best processor I have found for my concentrates. I ensure the dispensaries I go to use only organic regimens but all of Dabbles concentrates taste just like the bud from the strains that used to help with my seizures. Making you tube videos naked of you dabbing get a life man!! Stop ragging on people that work hard to make something that helps people!!

Sulfur smells like rotten eggs. You say it is rubbery. Sounds like this happened

"A brother recently posted on Facebook he had injected around 6 cases of butane into a container and when he evaporated it off to see what was left, there was a heavier residual oil that he described as smelling like a tire factory.

There are a number of possibilities offered on what it is, but no definitive analysis as yet, so we decided to run an experiment ourselves, with us in control of the variables such as cleanliness.

There are of course things that we know are in butane, such as sulfur in the low ppm to ppb range, and longer chain oleaginous waxes, which is what all the XXXXXX refining is to remove, as they clog the small orifices of expensive butane lighters.

If you concentrate enough butane, you would expect to see a measurable amount of those left behind and they may explain the Mystery Oil.

As far as the smell, tires are mostly made of synthetic rubber formulated out of styrene and butadiene, so the butane present could explain a butyl rubber odor, if mixed with sulfur and longer chain alkane waxes."

Someone who supposedly has a support badge on reddit (not that that really means anything....) suggested they were possibly using some super low quality propane like Coleman camping bottles. Wouldn't surprise me one bit. When I asked how it was made on Facebook the guy never gave a direct answer. He said it was a "formulated mix of organic hydrocarbons." Which doesn't really narrow it down much.


What I think is really strange is there's been a couple people say they've gotten the best stuff they've ever gotten from dabble, but those same people say they've also gotten stuff like mine that leaves crap and tastes like rubber from them.

Decided to winterize it since it was unusable as it was.

Still doesn't taste awesome but at least it isn't leaving huge nasty piles of crap on the nail anymore.

Funny...In a non medical state. I wish I could go buy extracts at a store.

BUT, I'm not sure if I could trust someone else to make it. Too many unscrupulous people trying to cut corners and make a quick buck.

Yeh, there is a lot more involved than just price comparisons when deciding between diy and store bought.

Of course, as always Safety first! Anonymity next. But when you are working with "street weed" there are usually only a couple different strains with dubious genetics available (conveniently) at any given time.
