The context:
Ever since running into the Holy Anointing Oil recipy on skunkpharmresearch I have discovered a new world opening up to me.
However, the absolute used for making the Oil used to be produced with BHO. Now something has come up, making this impossible to do.
How do I go about this, knowing the only readily available alternative is grain alcohol?
I came up with different routes to take and would love to hear the opinion of others on it:
First I want to try a QWET run, first pull, and compare that to a warm soak as suggested by badkittysmiles(see badkatt's cannapharm) to see what returns I get from it. Doing 26g(1oz) runs with both.
Why not simply go the warm soak route one might ask? I did this first run according to the badkittysmiles recipy and got a very dark green result from that (with the alcohol still in there one cannot see trough the pirex cup!) leaving me with a feeling that there might be way too much chlorophyl in it, even for oral consumption. I wonder if this chlorophyl is partly destroyed when evaping of the alcohol or if it will get even more concentrated?
Too much chlorophyl in oral products, is that a problem?
I know of the trick to put it in the sunlight, but this stuff is really dark green. And I do not have any hexane nor vacuum to my disposal, so cleaning it up that way is not possible.
I guess I will just have to do the QWET run, evap it and evap the first warm soak and see what it yields...
Please keep in mind that the purpose of this exercise is to find the best way to create a full spectrum oral dose, meaning the presence of chlorophyl might not be a problem as it is when the result is supposed to be vaped. Question is how much chlorophyl is too much...
The main question following these tests:
if chlorophyl presents a problem when taken orally?
how to possibly remove some more of the chlorophyl after the soak?
