Prefilled Carts for Noobs

I've been staying away from prefilled but recently picked up this cartridge. It was $30 for a half gram and it's called the Loud Pack 710 King Pen. I picked the Skywalker OG strain.

This is actually one of the best prefilled cartridges I've had to date in both taste and effect. It also has a metal mouthpiece and unique coil design relative to all other prefilled carts I've seen. I don't know what the coil is composed of but I've sent an email to Loud Pack to find out - hopefully they respond. So far, no leaking or wicking issues.

As for batteries, I usually use the cheap buttonless batteries for SUPER stealth mode, or just crank it on my box mod and turn the wattage all the way down until the voltage reads about 3.2V.

In the past, my favorites have been Absolute Extracts (particularly their OG Kush strain), Heavy Hitters, PureGold and Jetty.

Those 710's are the best i have tried so far, only thing that i have found stronger is my own tank i make with Ej mix but the taste is just incredible and the high is really nice. They have some real strong tasty great Live Res also .

Ok so I actually am a NY MMJ card holder. It's not that hard to get (you do have to have one of those conditions though). And the dispensaries if you live around NYC are pretty convienent. And one of the dispensaries now features delivery service to all five boroughs of NYC, Nassau and Westchester and some parts of Suffolk.

The one bad thing is price but actually they dropped the price on the item I buy by $13 and $14 dollars respectively.

I think price will continue to get better.

Anyhow they have prefilled carts but they are actually even more expensive than the item I buy which is just the oil in a jar. And you fill your own cart. Right now I'm using the canna blast by Mig Vapor. It works well. Has a special battery and adapter but always delivers a consistent level of Vapor.

I have only seen the FireTanks brand of cart here though in non-mmj. Actually one time I got a vape what u dab pen and that was pretty awesome.

In Colorado my favorite are the chroma carts. Although I don't have too much experience with Colorado carts. I think I tried Neos as well.

I've also tried the Green wave classic indica and sativa and those are pretty good as well.

I stick to my legal medication now. Even though the price is high, it does taste nice, is legal, and I don't have to deal with the unknown (for the most part). Still working on finding the absolute best thing to put this oil in.

I want to start doing the same thing - I'm looking for a good oil that I can just refill my own carts with. Prefilled are very nice but just so pricey. And to think, with those premium quartz cartridges, you are throwing away a lot of money each time you buy a new one.

Question for you guys! I plan on visiting a legal state and bringing my Omicron V4 batter which has a min 10 watts. It looks like most of the preloaded carts have a wattage rating around 3.5. Is it still safe to use short pulses with my Omi batt or will I burn the heating element?

I've gotten my hands on some carts before and never had a problem but being so far from home I want to be sure it will work.

I do love KingPen 710s! Especially if i can find some 1g carts. But i actually love the potency of FlavRx carts. They do taste like candy so there is *no question* that, UNLESS its some crazy amount of terpenes (try Tropical Trainwreck Lol its literally like vaping a lollipop),they have taste enhancers of some sort.
KingPen just got 2 wins in the Canna Cup, including the #2 spot. And yeah Kings def dont have that candy taste. one strain, King Louis OG, tastes to me almost like a really good CBD cart.

Btw tho in the area, i think the best stuff ive seen around might be SC Labs "private reserve". Mostly GSC, my friend who has cancer has been getting those. He wants to get into NY MMJ but feels theyll price him higher than like just getting cali pens

They will. It's $100 bucks for 250mg cart. He should still get the card for legal protections.

At the place I can go to, you can get it in bulk 500mg 1ml for $120. Still ridiculous. But you gotta fill your own cart.

Damn It's usually 1000mg in 1mL here as far as I recall. What a shame the prices are so fucked there. Almost no medical patient can afford a steady supply with prices like that.

Those are my CO favorites as well. They pack a real punch for a cart and really give me a sedative, heavy-eyelid effect off of just one pull. Really well built and well thought cart design with the ability to clean, adjustable airflow and the ability to refill with your oil of choice. The lab reports on the few I have got tested at 93.xx% and were definitely the strongest carts I've tried.

I am surprised more folks don't speak of them. I have had sooo many carts over the years, these really set the bar high.

Wow, I just looked at their site and it only shows the product (contents) and not in a pre-filled cart form??

Honestly, I can. But I don't really like dealing with the black market for various reasons, one being reliability. I know what time the dispensary is open and what time they close. Can place my order anytime and I know it will be waiting for me.

Also, the pills are a bit expensive, but the tincture I feel is decently reasonable. $180 or so for 500mg THC / 100mg CBD.

It's nice to be on the right side of the law, at least in the states eyes.

NY also gives you a 30 day supply but don't tell you what your supply actually is. So I try to keep up my amount so that I'm not limited if I need to go back.

Now, there are other reasons besides just living in NYS to get your medical marijuana card in NYS. If you are on good terms with your doctor, you can have them fill out an out of state Maine certification form. I've been to the dispensary in Portland, ME. They have a wide variety of flower for approximately $262 an ounce. They have sales all the time, and actually sent me a flash sale of $175 an ounce. Carts there are around $75 for 400mg I believe. They have cookies, cappuccino mix, all sorts of stuff. No wax or concentrates though. It's just a decently far drive from where I'm at.

Also, you can (although have not confirmed yet), go to the medical dispensary in Canada. I'm going on vacation this summer there and am going to give it a shot. Their prices are in Canadian, with some flowers being $6 Canadian a gram lol. Which is like $4.25 or so. I'm excited to check that out.

Yes, there are many reasons why the black market is better in NY. Price, selection, etc.

But unless we show NYS that we have a viable market for medical marijuana, and more patients join and continue to purchase, prices will continue to drop. My dispensary already drop the oils from $133 to $119 and $130 to $117. That is a welcome drop. Anytime prices go down, people are happy :-)

I've been deciding if I want to take a trip to Maine to grab some flowers. They have blue dream on sale this month for $200 an ounce. But fuck, I don't want to drive there. LOL :-). And like I said I'm going to Canada at some point so I'll just wait.

I forgot to mention. The place I go to now also has delivery. $20 bucks and they'll bring it to you.
