Well there's lots of different terps, I'm guessing they match the dominant terp in the strain. They do that with "clear" now, the extraction process leaves it very strong but very bland so they now have a new line of "terp added' clear that explodes with the strain flavor. They just look at the test for that strain and see Pinene is the dominant terp so they bump a few drops of that in,etc...

Dude, ya the one you posted looks really legit. Xtractology, I wish I can find it. It looks like it's a dispensary in NorCal? Is that where you get them? Might be the only place they are sold.

My local dispensary has RemPens and the one I got, grape ape, tastes shittier than a bucket of ash. I'm just gonna stick with making my own juice when desired, I just need to remember to winterize my wax.....but I feel I lose so much product :(

Tried a Charlotte's Web pen from dispensary. I am impressed by quality of build and concept. I would like to try something more "head" orientated as opposed to "body". I have magic butter 2. Anyone making their own juice? Recommendations?

I, too am enjoying the Xtractology pre filled carts. I use it with a Kangertech Subox Mini VV Battery. They are filled with Solvent free extract. Zero carrier. The Raw Distillate is very thick. They use various ratios of terpenes to achieve the desired viscosity to allow for best flow into the carts. They will leak if left in a hot car. I took mine on a domestic flight. With no issues. I had the whole deal packed up in the original box from the Kangertech setup. TSA opened up my carry on and took out the box and scrutinized EVERYTHING inside, including the cart. After about 10 minutes of looking and re-xraying it, they passed me thru. Coming home, I had nothing in the box and the vape just in a side pocket and there was no issue. They did not like the looks of tightly packed box with liquid and wires.

@DieHard - Those carts look sweet ... Re battery, what is your v setting. None of my 3 go lower than 3.5v; higher than suggested cart range...

Q - how does one know the cart has given up everything?

I set my battery at 7Watts. That is its lowest. The cart is 1.9 ohms and at 7.0 Watts makes the voltage 3.6. When the concentrate doesn't cover the tiny holes at the bottom, you are VERY near the end. It will begin to taste burned.

My batt reads the almost dry BriteLabcart @ 2.5 ohms; 5 watts, 3.5 v. (7w comes @4.1 v). Felt it was too high a setting as the rec range was lower ...
Works, though - & since there is a coating ring at base still producing cloud & doesn't taste burned, must be good.

Yeah, my first cart too ... :spliff:

Does a mod box make that much difference compared to a standard slim 510 battery that is fixed voltage? If so what are the major benefits? I have been using fixed voltage batteries for too long but I just have not been sold on a mod box yet.

Also, for those of you with a higher tolerance. Are you taking a lot of back to back hits? How many to get a good effect? Is there anything I should be cautious about with taking a dozen or so hits in a short duration? Someone once mentioned to me that it can cause damage or leaks or something.

I have had access to carts for a good year now and I always have one or two on hand but I really have only started using them more frequently. The two biggest problems for me is I find they typically give me a more sleepy buzz and it takes about a dozen hits before I feel the slightest effect.

Not much of an advantage using with prefilled carts. But a mod box opens up doors to using all sorts of concentrate atomizers.

Which is the other reason I am getting more interest in them. Been concentrating a lot lately...the evolve plus with a donut has really been taking care of damage control but I keep finding myself lurking in the Divine Atty thread...

Different producers, different strains, potency differences, the patient, even the power source play a part in actual experience. Seek out the suggested vape range for the partiulate and start there if possible ... (Easy to say ... I usually jump right in and make adjustments when common sense is fed to me via this forum) ...

The holy terps cost 16$ per 4ml, and it takes .1ml to .5ml to dilute 1 gram. The other one has samples. Well its supposedly makes the concentrate taste and smell so much better compared to the ejmix. Since the ejmix to many people have a weird after taste. Also the pre-filled carts seem to be filled with terpene enhancers like the one i stated before or they just add d-limonene.

Sharing this research result w/BL carts.

Set a variable v/w batt to lowest (3 v)... Attach cart ... Holding it vertically press power button & watch cloud form & climb toward mouthpiece ... When cloud is half way to top or personal preference, then take a "a no or light contact with mouthpiece hit" ... No more cough, less irritation ...

what wattage seems to work best for the prefilled carts? I bought a Pico Mega and a Clieto tank to upgrade my experience with co2 oils and I don't know what watts I should be at. I don't know how to set the Pico Mega to voltage or to adjust the wattage by voltage if that is what I need to do instead of changing the wattage.
