Power Inverter for camping

I was hoping to take my new ascent camping, but want more battery life than a single charge can provide. I have a deep cycle marine battery and a Power inverter (small: 200w , powers up to 1.74 amps, 60 Hz) I was hoping would do the trick. As far as my limited understanding goes, the power adaptor that comes with the vaporizer would regulate the energy consumed by the device and be safe to use? Many vaporizers come with car adaptor/chargers that work on the same principle? Do I risk harming the electronics? The batteries? Anybody try this yet? Thanks for any input.
