Posting/adding a picture

I feel like an idiot but I can't seem to figure out how to attach a photo to a thread. I tried photobucket and it isn't working and I can't seem to find an "attach file" link. Someone please help I'm feeling less intelligent every second.

okay so you copy the picture url from photobucket and where the box you type in there is an icon in the white shaded area directly above. the icon is of a tree. simply click the tree and insert url
