First Oldsmobile, now Pontiac. Me thinks GM is gonna end up with two cars. Cadillac and Chevy.

nope,they aren't gonna ditch buick anytime soon..
it is one of thier best exports and believe it or not
they are in very high demand and very popular

believe it or not it is a very big status thing over there.
to own a american car shows that your sucessful
like americans are and have been for many years.
buick just happened to be the car of choice for them.
don't forget these people
are just finding wealth in the past 10 years or so
they have come along way from being worth dirt
like they did in the past.

It just amazes me how they can make an economy work like that in a Communist country. I really am totally in awe of what they've been able to accomplish.

And I totally understand an American car being looked at as a status symbol. But a Buick ??

for them. price had a bit to do with it, don't forget a couple of grand is added on for transport.so the price of a higher end car will be even more.
i saw a show on china last year and they were showing alot of new and used buicks
getting loaded up on containers heading west.when they arrived they were all sold
very quickly they can't get thier hands on enough of them. they were sayin china is the reason buick is still alive, without them it would of died before oldsmobile did.

ahh that jarred the memories i remember way back the 4 finned pontiac
one of our neighbors down the street when i was a kid had a red one.
the one i thought that might of made the list wasn't there
my hs buddy had one
it was a 69 sj 428 gran prix
they only made a few hundered of them, i would of ranked that higher then some of the new stuff they listed
