Let go and let God(or the Universe or whatever you call it).
Turn it over to The power greater than you.........just for enough time to sleep. Sleep will help heal the pain and shock and disruption. It will refresh you and help you deal with the crap. Sleep will bring some love back.
But to sleep good, just for a few hours, you must turn it over. Let it go. It will come back when you wake up. Tell Patty they will not come back. They have done their damage and had their laughs, now it is up to you two to react positively.
This may sound simple and naive but we have been there and done that. As we would repeat to ourselves many times over the last three years....."remember, when we are down, scared and cannot sleep, THEY are winning. We are letting them win"

Wow @Vitolo you are the last person I can imagine needing a thug visit. The outpouring of love here is so appropriate for what we all as a community have through you. So sorry all your careful progress got reversed in such a brutal way. No worries about owing us anything of course- we're talking about how we can help replace what was lost.

Patty has written to many by email, and is sitting thinking of what she wants to tell you here on FC.

Vito.......I may still have some connections in the media world from when I was very active there many moons ago, but before I see if there are any strings to be pulled, I need to know from you if you want me to do this.

CNN could very well jump on this, especially with Sanjay's Gupta's recent reporting on the MMJ efforts for legalization. It could be a very good fit.

Lemmie know..........It could turn into a media circus for you so give it some thought before I pitch it to 'em.

Your posts always have a way of moving me, whether its tears of happiness or sorrow; you always manage to do it, what happened this time is obviously the latter. Like others, I'm sickened by this story. Words can't justify how sorry I am. Its a well-known fact that the government's priorities are wildly out of order, but something like this happening to someone like you is incomprehensible. Its unacceptable, its a violation of your human rights, above all its fucking inhumane. You improve the quality of life of those in need, those that might not have much time left and you give so much to do so. I can't think of anything more commendable than that. You've served as a moral compass since I learned of what you deal with every day and what you do for those in need, I just hope that one day I can manage to do as much as you've done to help others.

You're in my thoughts @Vitolo

Good morning Vito, I am glad to hear the updates from you! I was so worried and have had you both in my heart and prayers. You are so blessed, Patty is the real deal and I know how much she means to you. I remember the day we were talking and you mentioned how she had started working at the animal shelter and how happy you were for her. I cant see how anyone would see you other than the kind hearted soft spoken guy you are, you are not the wolf in sheep's clothing. Hang in there, I pray this works out for good and opens the eyes of the blind, fooled, and misinformed people of this world.

Just read what happened and I am so sorry. Do talk to the best drug lawyer in AZ. Maybe they won't take you but they will talk to you. And I think a bad lawyer would want this, imagine a good one. But do it ASAP and find out about keeping on with the program, if you can you should. I KNOW your inventory will be jumping soon. I wish you both the best.
