I haven’t tried a Solo yet, but based on reviews and discussions, I’m betting it’s the winner, but I would definitely put the Lobo as a significant upgrade to the One, on par with a Mighty+ for vapor.
I saw the Mighty+ and it does have lots of great reviews and it's $319.

Ok, now I have to ask what you all think is better. Lobo, One and the Solo 3. Been watching reviews and it's up to these three, time to stop penching penny's.

You'll probably be happy with the Lobo, but I think Solo3 is better by comparison in several ways (but others are trade off) plenty of other options that could be even better, but these are both good choices if you want the same style digital automatic experience, hybrid session (don't bother with the mighty imo still overpriced and much more limited)

Whatever reviews you're seeing are probably largely meaningless btw all positive anyway

Between the Solo 3 and the lobo what do you like better ?.
Personally – the Solo 3. I care a lot about flavor, and I find the Lobo flavor to be pretty muted (but still much better than the Vane). But it is quite a bit bigger than the Lobo, it's not really pocketable. There are a lot of trade-offs for all of these vapes, they each have their own strong suits, and that's part of why it's hard to recommend a vape outright. You say your primary use case is right before bed, so I would definitely keep that in mind. If pocketable isn't actually super important to you, then maybe the Solo 3 is the way to go for you. I do think the Lobo is probably the easiest to recommend as an all-around workhorse you can take anywhere with you, especially to people who are inexperienced.

That said, the Lobo is considered a mid-tier vape, whereas the Solo 3 is closer to the high-end, although still not at the peak (some would say it is at the peak, that comes down to a matter of opinion). If you broke down vapes into five categories, it would probably be:

Cheap and Bad
Budget but Good
Mid-tier
High-end
Ultra Premium

I think most people would agree that the Vane fits in Cheap and Bad, whereas the Lobo sits in Mid-tier, and the Solo 3 sits in High-end.

Nice, run low temps when you get it, don't worry about the on demand feature so much, it is like micro sessions with more control, but just use it in classic session mode to get a sense for it otherwise... Also ideal if you can use it with a hook or other glass, don't need water, but you can, and the WPA, so you can keep it upside down to keep it cleaner and have more cooling as well

Hell yeah! I think you'll really love it once you get the hang of it. And like Shit Snacks mentioned, the other great thing about the Solo III is that it comes with two WPAs, so if you have a 14mm bong or rig lying around, they pair together awesomely. Great way to get more cooling and take bigger hits, if that's what you want.

Hope you enjoy it! The Solo 3 has its own thread on this site, I’d highly recommend reading through it while you wait. There’s so much good information and advice that really helped me hit the ground running with mine.

Definitely makes sense to start with the session mode and get used to that first, then when you want to use it in a bong start playing with the on demand mode. I’ve always preferred session mode at 210c and the small bowl personally.

The lower temps are a good starting point as you get to know the device and produce a nice flavour and good effects. A lot of people even prefer to stay on lower temps as the heater is powerful enough to give a full extraction there with gentler vapour. If you want heavier effects and a more sedating quality to the high then crank the temp up to the >200c range. You’ll need a cooling stem or bong/jhook as the vapour can be very hot at these temps.

Maybe not the oldest, but possibly the fartiest!
I have a solo 3 and a utillian 621 (similar size to the Lobo). I tried the solo3 on a walk with the dog, and it’s just too big to fit comfortable in my jacket pocket. The 621 is much smaller and for my needs, using outside on a walk, works better for me.

If you get the lobo, I recommend the glass globe mouthpiece or a DynaVap bb3/6/9 to use as a mouthpiece on the lobo.
