Hey fellow FC'ers...if you are in the Southeastern U.S., please keep your eye on Hurricane Isaac. It appears the track is still a little uncertain (as to be expected), and you never can be sure about the intensity given it will be over the very warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico.
Just a reminder about precautions:
- at least 1 gallon of water per person/per day
- batteries for flashlights (candles can be dangerous)
- non perishable foods
- fill the bathtub with water before the storm hits - this water can be used for bathing, flushing toilets, etc.
Also VERY IMPORTANT! If you have a portable, make sure it's charged up. If you don't have a portable, make sure you have your "old school" tools available.
Be safe, folks. Mother Nature will run her course, and we just gotta go with the flow.
