Hi all, topic of cleaning.

I love my PnP but keep breaking my pongs, the cylindrical piece on the bottom inside that has the screen breaks off from the rest of the PonG. I am now thinking the reason is I soak the PonG in ISO. This time I have ordered GPonG from ebay. Really like your advise on how to clean the gPongs if the plastic has issues with ISO. Also, I use ISO+cottonswab to clean the heating chamber and other areas in the main unit, Is there an issue with the plastic on the main unit chipping/breaking off by using ISO? Any help on thorough cleaning tools, solvents, procedure appreciated.

5 months is kind of short for battery life issues, but certainly not unheard of. Everyone's mileage varies I guess, but some batteries just fall short their expected performance.

I don't think many here have changed out their PnP batteries DIY, but one or two have. I can't remember off-hand what VB's warranty on batteries is for the PnP, but I'm sure someone with a better memory can tell us.

Try to avoid ISO on plastic in general. Avoid the PonG as well. Now that you get the GPonG, just pop the screen and/or the glass tube (depends if both need cleaning) out of the plastic, remove the o-ring and soak them in ISO.

The way I do it, is I got a mason jar with ISO in it, and I regularly put parts that need cleaning in it - glass tube, screens, bullets - and every now and then I let the ISO evaporate in a pyrex oven dish or the like, and scrape up the goo thats left behind and vape that. Vand hash, as some call it, is f***ing amazing!

Pinnacle version 3 update:

We have decided on a design and laid out the internals, however this is a whole new circuit board and molds, so it will not be a fast process. There is basically no way to get it out by Christmas, so our attention will switch over the holidays..... All of this likely adding up to a march release. I have to keep a lid on the details because every vape I make gets knocked off in china, but I will start releasing them 7-8 weeks before we launch. Please don't expect many updates, I just can't release any specifics so there isn't much to update!

Edit: I can't give one detail I suppose. It will be available in 2 different body materials, neither of which is plastic!!

Wow that sounds great, getting rid of the plastic . I'm on my second pnp due to the plastic cracking, I'm a chronic pain sufferer & this vape is amazing at reaching the pain killing properties that the herb contains, like no other vape I've tried. The thought of a none plastic, new updates has got me very interested & I can't wait to try!!

It doesn't heat up anymore either. Turns on..Acts like it's heating up - and then red lights.. then off

Who do I speak to about this issue?

Where did you buy the vape from? As most authorised dealers will deal with issues in house rather than being sent back to vaporblunt. Vaporblunt daves email is in this thread somewhere if it was from vaporblunt.

Hi you'd be best off contacting namaste vapes,, if I'm totally honest I've read some naughty going ons at namaste for some customers,, some have written on here that they've recieved a fake/ counterfeit from them. I can't comment as I've never bought from them it's just what I've read on some of the threads on here. Does your pinnacle have a seam in the plastic going thru the middle of the front of the unit?as in if your looking at it front on does the plastic seam meet in the middle or on the sides?

for the guy with the battery issues, the warranty is 90 days on battery and 1 year on the unit.

My buddy gave me his brand new pinnacle pro last night after he added water to the attachment while it was still connected. It stopped heating so he gave it away. So I now have this one. Can it be fixed? All the lights work as normal, nothing seems wrong except the fact that it no longer heats up. Anyone have any ideas on what to do? Or is it now just a paper weight.

I know the company won't fix it if there is water damage. That probably is why he gave it away.

I would try putting it in rice, completely submerge and leave it for a month and see if that works. It can't hurt. Let us know if this works. Others could benefit.

That's the problem with the Pnp WT I've noticed. I've had to quickly detach the unit, I had some close calls but was able to dry everything out.

You are better off using a bubbler. No risk with water damage. Thats another thing that needs to be improved when they make the new improve model. Make a bubbler to pair with the Pnp V2.

I don't know enough about water tools to know if all tubes leak like that? Someone else might want to comment.

Man my battery sucks on this thing. I will turn it on it will show 3 bars of battery life and yet once it starts heating, it starts blinking low battery.

Mine does exactly the same,, you think there's 3 bars left& then it starts flashing,, was hoping to a bit better battery life out of it.

I've gone from 3 bullets down to 2 bullets per charge. I bought my PNP back in May. Still works fine, just have to plan ahead too keep the charge up.

I just received a batch of returns that had 10 % fake units in it. We have identified 3 different fake pinnacles to date. If you purchase a fake unit you will obviously not be able to warranty with me. There are multiple customers who today will receive an email from us informing them that their unit is fake..... Please don't let this happen to you.

* check out website for a list of authorized Vaporblunt vendors

* I have yet to see a fake in our packaging. Even the slightest difference in packaging should be a concern for you, as the pn has only ever had 1 box and we have never changed it .

There's a few ways, the easiest being the texture of the casing, and the location of the seam where it was welded together
The plastic is as different as this on the ones I've seen-

And the real PnP has 2 seams on the front running lengthwise down it on either side of the faceplate, whereas the fakes have 1 running down the middle- both have a seam down the back.

I've had run ins with the fake pnp,, the first was in a normal pinnacle box & the second I seen was in a pnp box& there wasn't much diff between the fake& the real. They are getting so close to the real ones, I imaging it's frustrateing. In my option about 70% of pnp on eBay are fake & same for amazon.

"The fake unit is very poor quality. The Bowl is made of Aluminum with a kapton heater adhered to it – this is bad as the kapton heater cannot heat to over 300F without burning the glue on the adhesive. The heater core plastic is made of ABS, it will melt under even low temp operation. (I don’t think this unit was ever used) The parts that should be teflon are what apperas to be white glass filled ABS (again, low temp plastic very bad to use).


The easiest way to tell that the unit is a knock off is to look at the inside of the core when assembled. On our units (Stainless Steel) you can see a small weld line where the tube was laser welded. On the knock off there is no seam as it’s a machined piece. Stainless Steel is also more silver than the aluminum – that takes a bit of a trained eye though!"

That's a direct quote from engineering on a fake unit. Hope it helps
