For further reference, I know Super Glue has cyanide in it, when it gets hot it puts off gasses. It also melts at between 360 and 400 degrees is what I read. For your own health no to Super Glue.

I want nothing to do with the negativity of this forum
Do as you please. But really this has to be the most helpful forum with the nicest people anywhere. If you were to read back I think you can find where this negativity stems from.
Before you go one last thing. When I first said you should stop using your mouth piece I was not only saying this because of the super glue. There has been many reports of plastic melting, breaking down and possibly off-gassing which is only sped up with the use of Iso. alcohol. Maybe I should have put that in my original message but I felt some urgency to tell you stop using your mouth piece immediately. I still stand by my original statement. You should stop using your mouth piece and look into the glass lined Gong. Also try to read as much of this thread as you can, the information here is priceless. I'm not trying to tell you what to do, just offering suggestions based on my experiences. Happy Vaping!

People here are just trying to give you advice.
You cant really blame us for negativity when we see something that may not be healthy and advise you of it.
Its an entire community that tries to inhale from healthier options.

ISO eats plastic if left to soak long enough, so only a quick swabbing is advised.
ISO soak probably made the mouthpiece crack.

Just google "plastic bong iso" you will find plenty of people who made the mistake of leaving plastic to soak in iso and coming back to cracks.

After one cleaning with iso my mouthpiece did the same thing. I stopped using it. When I'm out and about, having to think about stealth I just use the pong, works great.

there is no cyanide in super glue or krazy glue.
look up the Material Safety Data Sheet information provided by the company.
Ethyl 2-Cyanoacrylate
here is the msds info:http://www.eway.ca/msds/EPO10300-EN_012012.pdf

It is not listed as a carcinogen by the Occupational Health and Safety Ass. of Canada, which is way more stringent than its US counterpart.

It is listed as a respiratory irritant with prolonged exposure

It has an auto ignition temp of over 485 degrees.
And it has a flash point of 85 degrees WHEN WET.

Glues dry and cure by solvents evaporating, that is the ethyl, cured glue has very different properties than wet. Dry glue with no solvents, does not release harmful chemicals until ignited, or near the ignition point. which is 485 degrees, even if you were correct at 380-400 degrees, the pinnacle does not reach those temperatures.

research...

And on top of all that....

the glue was applied to the outside of the mouth peice, along the crack between the 2 pieces, it does not touch the airway, I SMOKE CIGARETTES and worked in a dirty, poorly ventilated welding shop for years. I dont care about a drop of glue.

You don't have to defend your decision. I agree that people should respect your choice, but you also should consider that what you perceive as negativity was actually genuine concern for your safety, even if it was poorly expressed at times. If you think the way someone has warned you breaks the rules, just use the Report button. Otherwise, ignore it or send a PM.

Glue aside, the problem with your mouthpiece was caused by overexposure to ISO.

Quick question for you PnP owners. How long does your PNP take to heat up to temp #1?
I've had 4 replacement units and they all take over 2:30 to heat to the first setting.
I could swear my first unit heated up in 45 seconds to a minute to temp #1.
What are your guys average heat up time to the 1st temp setting?
Thanks in advance!

I stated this months ago mine not only takes forever to heat which never happened before but sometimes won't even heat passed level three unless I heat it up to three or four from the start of my session then pop in my bullet which was never a problem when I 1st got it :\ for what ever reason during my session if I'm at two or three and try to bump up it will just keep blinking but never reach temp

Ok, doesn't heating superglue turn it into some sort of gas that then solidifies again when I cools?? Can't check on my way to work.

Ultimately the ONLY advice you'll get from members of this forum is to not use it and dispose of the MP.

The answers to your specific Q's are in the post above mine, and imo you did come across rude.

Of course you can't heat up and inhale glue, ever heard of sniffing glue being dangerous?? This is common sense, and he did come of rude. I can't sugar coat it, it's crazy how people come in here with those crazy attitudes.

@grayarea is 100% right.

I will say that I've been told various adhesives are safe up to certain temps, but I would never chance it with super glue

Ambient room/air temp seems to play a part here. I use my PnP as my "out and about" vape and know it takes a lot longer to reach temp in the middle if winter compared to in the summertime.
Extremes I know, but you see what I mean...

I think the only way to time heating up time is empty chamber without bullet. Outdoors heat-up time is much longer, so start from a normal room temp.

My time is always 2 minutes and 25 seconds, give or take a few seconds with an ambient room temperature of 72 degrees Fahrenheit to reach temp #1.
That's with or without the bullet in the chamber (empty or loaded) with a glass lined Pong, on a full charge.
I guess it's worth the wait coupled with the F-bomb!
It's still a great vaporizer, I'll just deal with the extra wait for now, It's worth it.:)

PnP is going in the trash, I'm getting a Solo and moving on.

Howdy folks!

So how would you like to be able to fill a bullet in approx 3-5 seconds and be a perfectly packed fill EVERY time? Stay tuned…

The BarnBoy is hoping everyone is doing well!!! It has been a busy summer and the BarnBoy family is having fun enjoying life at its best. I have taken the PNP on water ski boats, camping trips, road adventures, etc. It really is an excellent tool for stealth, when it functions correctly. I truly hope TRVB will come up with a solution for a battery replacement program as he promised. This is the last major issue with this product. My Panasonic batteries arrived, apparently slow boat across the US… :cuss:

I regret to say that this will probably be my second to last semi-serious posting. As I said before I need to spend more time with wife and family. But I will continue to stalk this thread and help where I can. Especially on something that happens rather serendipitously.

While out and about, I hit on an instance where my hands were tied up, so loading a bullet the standard pack with a tool method using both hands wasn’t going to work. Taking inspiration from @TherealVaporblunt and his Aardvark, I placed a bullet, screen end in my mouth. Using the bullet like a straw, I was able to suck more than enough herbs into the bullet and pack it with my one free hand...

Oh, and the extra benefit was the taste of fresh-fresh herbs on my tongue! :o

Now fast forward to the present. After rummaging in the barn for some hose that was used for my Steinel setup, I was able to extend the bullet 24+ inches away from my face so I can actually see the filling process. And it looks pretty much like what is shown in the photos below. Put the bullet into the straw/tube holder. Yes, I have found some coffee shop straws that will fit and hold the bullet nicely. Hover over the herb and “Hoover” it with your lungs as hard as you can! As always, use your tongue as a particle catcher, especially if doing this method with keif. As you suck, push down to help pack in. Keep drawing your breath until the bullet is full. You will notice a balance of restriction and fill to get it perfect every time. It will also clean up all the loose bits in your grinder and spill tray…

hGVBQwG.jpg

It now takes me less time to fill all x8 bullets than it does for the PNP to warm up when plugged in…
