Be sure to read the reviews of the DH gate PnP water tool in the "Cheap, high-quality bubbler???" forum. Start at Pg.189 post #4720. It seems like for the most part they are just okay, definitely not Vapor Blunt quality glass. But for the price you almost can't pass it up.

Good luck to all on the contest!

@na0landy , you should get visible vapor at any setting, at least I always have, with or without the hydro tube. I fill a bullet halfway anymore, knocks me out. My mouthpiece is fine, never had an issue yet. I always use the 2 setting btw.

I highly recommend the hydro tube, its pretty great. Only fault is the weak battery life.

So I bought two

They're Chinese knock offs my friend. However, that seller is one that gets a lot of praise around FC. Their D020 is a low cost bubbler staple around these parts!

I have three Pnp vapes and have have one that seems to run hotter than the other two. I don't know if anyone has noticed anything like that? I have two that have the cracks at the sleeve one is the hot running one and the other one seems to have normal heating.

Yes my first PNP pro ran way hotter than the replacement they sent me.

VB has not made a car charger yet for the Pnp. Sativape came up the one on page 156 post 3881. I knew that a few members had come up with one, I did a search. There are others.

Sup fc.
Was gonna pick one of these up soon and been trying to read back and get up to speed but I do have a couple questions that maybe you guys or gals can help with.

1. Where is the best place to buy. ? I've seen em on vaporsellers.com and eBay from yoyokid. Both are waiting for stock.

2. What's this new glass mouth piece? I've been trying to look for a pic but no luck. Does anyone have a pic?

3. What's his sleeve cracking thing and how can I avoid it.

Thanks guys in advance

So what is a CAR CHARGER? Basically it is a power supply. The only problem is that it needs current, and some head room so the power supply doesn’t turn off to protect itself. Engineering stated this was 3A and I confirm. All of the chargers or USB battery based systems I have found limit the current to 2.1A or less. Thus if you can deal with charge only operation with your PNP, then this is a path.

Others on this forum use a DC-AC inverter to then power a PNP AC adapter. This will also work fine, but not what I want for use with batteries when I’m deep in the forests on my MTB or backpacking…

@MileHighLife posted some good links to a product that will allow operation of the PNP from standard rechargeable batteries. I still might get one of these…

And how did I make my Proto1 charger and/or how can you make yours? I simply took a development board for a Lineage DC-DC converter and adjusted the output to match the needs of the PNP. This device is way over kill for this application (12A output) thus I have had nothing but trouble free operation once I figured out the voltage drop on the 24AWG cable that comes with standard barrel connectors from Digi-Key. The primary disadvantage is the development board comes with baggage (computer interface) and thus is too expensive…

So for the Proto2 series (prize of the How stealth is your PNP or PN OG contest!), I found a wonderful little development board from Linear Technologies. It was specifically designed for wide range input applications (5.5V – 36V) and automotive is one of them. The dev board costs $65 and can be easily changed from the default 3.3V to 5.5V by paralleling a 182K resistor. The next steps are to add wires for the PNP output and automobile 12V source. Final step is putting it in a box. Now how simple is that???

I can’t feasibly sell these proto car chargers, thus I decided to have the contest so others might enjoy the ability to road trip with their PNP! And for any customs worries, it will be claimed as your birthday gift if I am asked by the USPS. The contest doesn’t have any Trophy Point minimums so all you new folks can have a try. I really tried making this contest easy and hopefully fun! And to me the freedom of using my PNP on the go is a superb prize! The battery on my PNP still performs the same as day one (5+ 8 minute sessions) and I believe I have my car charger to thank…

So vape and play!

Nice work.

What about the board that centizen uses in the mini vvps and voltagkeeper uses in his voltage keepers? It's used to convert solar panel power to a constant voltage and they are able to sell their fully assembled units for $45 so the board has got to be cheaper than the $65 board you're using. Not sure exactly what it is but im sure you could get more details from one of them or maybe from one of their threads in the vape accessories section.

Or a voltage keeper/mini vvps with the apropriate cables would also work as a great car charger.

Decided to treat myself and try some oil over the weekend. I got a little piece on a paper clip and wiped it on some organic cotton. I then put this in a bullet and dropped it in the PNP at level 3 heat. Wow! I could not believe the taste, it was just like sherbet lemon sweets. I got great big clouds :) I will definitely be vapeing more oil through the PNP.
