Glad im not the only one although i would be much happier if there was a fix or solution

Ive tried cleaning it but no luck. I dont understand why the water refuses to go down

This also happens to me. I just deal with it by soaking up any water that doesn't go through with a paper towel.

when u get water on the top part that doesnt flow down just do what i will describe (i hope u get it because i am baked with a 10 minute session using the hydrotube and i got the same problem as you and i dont know if its a fault or its ment to be like this but i think i have found a solution)

when u get this problem having water stuck on top level :

place the full with water + stuck water on top hydrotube between your two palms(be carefull not to overfill)

make the movement you do when u are rubbing your hands to get them hot (start slow and go faster until the water drops down,have faith in the technique)

Hey everyone! Long time lurker, new member:wave:! I have a white label PNWT from eBay that, from what I can tell, works perfectly. My SOLO+PNWT induced rambling to follow might give that away:brow:. Several have posted about leaks and from what I can tell from pics and my own tube is that there are a couple different versions. Sounds like some have tubes with holes in the perc while others like mine have slits. The slits on mine are symmetrical and resemble an S with the top and bottom cut off. I'd be interested to know which versions people have that are leaking. Looks like mine was made from a tube that had the slits cut all the way to the end and then heated and welded to the 14mm. I can see where some of these tubes might could have not been welded properly in those spots which might lead to the leaking some are having. Just a thought.
When I say mine works perfectly, I mean that I have very little water in the top(less than 1/8") and I can pull harder than needed without taking a drink. I do think I have less in the top using distilled vs tap water, but that's probably to be expected with the small slits. Neither type of water splashes me though.
I'm using mine with a Solo and a PVHES GonG. I can pull hard enough to get a couple drops but that's pulling harder than you should. Never when I'm pulling normally.
Overall it's an awesome accessory for my Solo. So much so that my bent stem has other duties now:

I picked up a #6 stopper from the local home brew store while getting some PBW(excellent stuff BTW). Drilled a 5/8" hole with a wood spade bit(not a pro job by any means). It was a fairly clean cut through the middle and allows you to pop the bent solo stem through the hole for a relaxing sit back session on the couch. This also might help those of you with splash issues. No way to get any water up the bent stem:tup:
I bet a #5 or a 5.5 would fit even further down into the tube but the store was out of that size. Incidentally, they wanted .79 cents for a food grade stopper and the Lowes had a#7 plain rubber stopper for $2.09. Sometimes the local stores have deals too.

^Awesome! I was hitting the cloud with an increaser adapter inverted with pnwt, and told my friend what if we took a cork and made a whip on top like the sub! Thanks for sharing and for the pic!!!

^they had some stoppers with what looked like 3/8" holes predrilled. Looks like an Arizer EQ bag glass mouthpiece would fit perfectly into it then just pop on the tubing.

*edit: highdea. I just so happen to have said stopper. EQ glass mouthpiece is an exact fit. Hmmmmmm

DO NOT leave your pnwt outside with water in it when the temp is going to be below zero. You will have no perc once it thaws. Oops. Someone got too medicated last night..

I'm looking forward to using the ELBs and PNWT I ordered with my EQ if the FakeCloud doesn't work. I've been waiting for a week on all three items without receiving tracking info on any of them, but I think the wait is just because everyone here is ordering these things at the same time.

All three at once. I feel bad. I love/loved my EQ especially through water. Now I can't even hit it. I recommend using EQ for like 2 weeks exclusively, you know so you can bond with it. Once you hit cloud you won't touch it.

Also can we make a collective thread deal. One week of not mentioning the VB water tool. I still can't believe I forgot to order. And they wouldn't give me the late hookup like they seemed to do to folks on the PnWT $50 deal. I spray all about it to you guys then forget to order it. What a dumb ass.

Seriously though, i don't watch the vb threads because I don't have one. They seemed to imply more deals coming. If anyone sees any please post here.

I was on fence on PNWT $50 deal then when I saw this I was like thank god I waited. Know I want to hit myself with a hammer.
Wait we aren't suppose to talk about this. Hopefully a mod will delete our posts.

^^^ Yea, I finally got an answer about the Chandelier I ordered. They said it's "being made and should ship Friday or Monday". I asked about tracking and they said they will send the info. We shall see...
