A couple further evalutations on the PNWT.
Change water after each use, I think since there is so little, the smell really sticks in the water. Too much taste is lost vs. direct draw. For my vape, there is not enough resistance. Normally I can inhale very slowly for ~10+ seconds, slowly roasting a bowl, leaving some greens and having a couple more healthy hits. Using the PNWT I can roast a whole bowl in that same 10s or less. So, clearly the PNWT is helping a lot with lowering vapor temp since I can inhale a lot more at once. But, at the same time, it feels like its far more wasteful when efficiency is concerned. Maybe I just have to conciously take smaller hits when using the PNWT.
I've found the top holes that allow the water to fall back into the perc chamber seem to get plugged quickly with the tap water I've been using. I'm going to try an ISO clean and then see if distilled water helps eliminate that issue. If its plugging those upper slits, its bound to plug the showerhead slits soon or later.
I feel like the bottom could be a bit 'flatter', when I set it down it feels like it wants to rock back n forth a bit...and just is a tad unstable. Make sure you push it out of the way while you prep. I've bumped it a couple times and it wobbled back n forth on a balance point.
Overall I feel it does a good job of cooling vapor for my needs. Its a bit awkward to use with a log; its just not natural to use my log 'up right'. And if I weren't using an SS or brass bowl, I don't think the herb would 'pack into' and stick to a [larger] glass bowl as well.
