Awesome idea! Frog piss is what it sounds like. Lol, the drink that is not the taste. Around these parts we call Vodka and lemonade "frog piss". Not that I know how frog piss tastes like, or do I? ;)Thanks @Vicki for a great idea!

Good stuff! Do you know how much plant material it takes to make the 4 tablespoons of tincture?

If you click the link, it will take you to 2 different recipes for cannabis tincture. I used the cold method for my last batch. :)

Yeah, I saw it said 4-6 grams material per ounce of alcohol. If I recall, there are two tablespoons per ounce, so it would be 8-12 grams for the recipe I guess. Might try it with trim or ABV. :)

The cold method seems where it's at. 30 days for the warm method? That's a long time in the 21st century! Thanks for posting this, Vicki.

How does one cover 6grams of material with just 30mil of alcohol? I just don't get it? 1fluid ounce translates to 30mill no?

You don't really have to worry about specific measurements. The recipe just says to cover the bud with at least 2 in of everclear. Try the tincture before making something with it and if it's too weak, it's very easy to reduce down and concentrate.

Realized after 4 days in the freezer I put 1 cup of Everclear not 1 oz :doh::doh:

Would I just strain what I have and add more plant to fix the problem?

There is a link in the recipe to make the tincture ahead of time so that you can add it to this recipe. That is the method I used (cold extraction in the freezer) for my last batch of tincture, but I think I will go ahead and decarb in the oven beforehand from now on, though.

"Consumer grade ovens are not always exact so I decided to shoot for a decarboxylation temperature of around 240° Fahrenheit. This should produce quick results without losing any medicinal potency. 30 minutes seemed like a nice round number for a first test and should give the kief and trim plenty of time to come up to temperature."
