picture posting help

Hi everyone,

I *know* that this must have been asked plenty of times before but I can't find a sticky or FAQ or anything on it. How do I post a picture in a thread? It looks like I can't simply upload it from my computer...??? If someone can just point me to the right place out here for information, I would greatly appreciate it! (I'm not very good with storage sites or anything like that ….)
