That one looks like the one i also got off the bay...it is fake !
It is made from a harder metal and also sucks because the scoup is so much shorter than the real Pax loading tool. It does not work half as good...really....I should of returned it when I got it...but it is a extra in my fishing vape kit now.

Yup....I used to use the small sticky notes to make a paper scoup before I got the pax tool......was ok and much better than my fingers....but I got tired of making them every week when they wore out...lol

It's aluminum, but I think it's irrelevant what type as it's not sitting in liquid & there's no metal seepage scooping up weed. NV says their scoop size is appx. .05 grams. Well, I just filled up a heaping full scoop & it completely fills 1 vc bowl with a light tamp. I think the VC bowl is .07, so it's gotta be the same size as the NV. This was $11 w/ free ship while the NV is $16. I wanted to find out shipping cost, but I would have to go through the checkout sign-in process to find out.

Yup, will no use on hot unit, very good for filling sticky brick or dreamwood chamber
Yes it is not rigid, but firm enough for grinded weed, and it not magnetic, I found it is very important that the tools are not magnetic. You wont want to magnetic when the tools filled with full material, and suddenly sucked to the magnetic parts......

this is my favorite loading tool. It's made of titanium, also comes anodized for those that want a little bit of color. It's a dabbing tool but the shovel end works great for flower, I use the opposite end to scrape my screens so both ends are useful.

@felon167inc, great price, just have to wait 2 -3 weeks rather than several days. It's very possibly the same Chinese mfr. or distributor as there are Chinese sellers who actually reside in the US & warehouse & distribute the items for faster, direct shipping. They list under different ebay usernames, but the items all ship from the same 1 or 2 states & they all have multiple quantity available.

you are absolutely right but at the time I wasn't smart enough to search under "pax loading tool" when I was cruising ebay and amazon, the only option was the $16 pax loader. Now that the money has been spent already I'm happy with what I have, it works for me.

You could use the non-scoop end to push the CCD in place, but it's too wide for the tip end to push the CCD out. But the top of a Bic pen will work best for putting the CCD in as it has more surface area & completely fills the bowl in circumference so you have even pressure across the entire CCD.
@LabPong, please post pics of the NV & the ebay tool next to each other, aligned from the scoop end. You said that there is a 5mm difference in length & you say that the scoop itself is larger so therefore the 5mm must be in the length of the scoop. And also take a frontal pic of the width of the scoops side-by-side. And finally, take a pic of herb in the ebay scoop & then another pic where that same herb is transferred to the NV one. And if you want to really apply yourself
, put the herb from each filled scoop on a piece of paper in front of each scoop to see how much of a difference in material there is. Only then will I be convinced that the NV one is worth the extra $5 + ship.This is not only your community responsibility as a FC member, but it will make me happy, & you do want me to be happy, don't you?

Here is a few pics of my real....and faux Pax Loading Tool. Real one is bigger and longer.
I rounded the corners of the top edge at the end of the scoop. It helps when you have a small container and getting in the corner edge is hard. But the size otherwise is exact as when I purchased them. The smaller fake one I got on ebay is really hard to scoop up smaller bits and is my back up mobile pack one. Also notice the shape of the area where the body turns into the scoop. The machining shape there is totally different.
Again....real one is the top one in pic above.

Thanks for the reply !! I like the idea of a multi purpose tool . It usually doesn’t make much difference to me about the circumference of whatever I grab to set the ccd because I normally push the condenser in the back end of the tip and something else through the hot end and use equal pressure from both sides to set it . I did use a pen before as shown on the DV vid , but by itself , I always felt like it would set crooked . Probably just me

Good scoops are hard to find, tho merely adequate scoops are everywhere. I have some spoons I took from a kids silverware play set that work ok. I scavenged it from the trash, I wouldn't want anyone to think I am stealing toys out of kids hands...
My favorite scoop so far is still the Lotus scoop (no longer available) that came flat and you bent the sides up. I wish that was still available somewhere, tho I thought $5 for it was stealing...
I did order the cheap (fake?) version of this Pax scoop so we'll see if it is worth it. Amazing sometimes what the Chinese will counterfeit (duplicate). I am a little surprised that they thought there was a market for this, but I'm buying it so so much for that...

Friday night get together with the boys.....get home at 2:30am....vape..drink beer....go to bed at 3:30am.....wake up at 6am.......out of coffee......no milk.........drag myself to a local coffee house and pick up some wakie wakie juice......stop at gas station as almost out of gas.....get home and decide to go fishing to wake up.......go fishing for 3+ hours.....come home half in a daze.....get a call to help elderly father fix his tv......get home....take shower......woke up finally and it is 5:30pm.....

You go out with your friends & have a good time, but still need to vape & drink more when you get home ... alone, I might add. & no one forced you to get up at 6a. And, had you been proactive about stocking your pantry, you wouldn't have had to go out for coffee. Now you could have gone back to bed until Dad called, but, no, you needed to get a fish for dinner; not to mention the enjoyment derived from goin' fishin'. So, no, no medal for you. But I am much appreciative for the pic.

For me....it was not the size that was my biggest issue with the fake one...it was the fact that it pushed more of the flower around rather than actually scooping it up....which made it all the more frustrating to use. The real one allowed the grinds to go into the scoop with little manipulation.
Then secondly, yes....the size of what you can finally scoop up is too little as you have to re-scoop several times compared to the real one.
