Social media exposure is tough, I get emails all the time from people telling me how much they enjoy my stuff and how it's their favorite out of lots of other ball vapes. But I'm usually the only one who hears these comments; that's why I added reviews on my website to help create more exposure. With only a limited amount of ZXLs produced I don't know how much exposure will come from it, but it was worth a shot.
I think I was possibly the first to make a wireless ball vape, it was called the Electric Sandcastle. There's some videos and discussion in this thread, but there wasn't really any interest in wireless stuff when I first showed it off so it wasn't developed further. I used to heat up my InVerzion 1.5 with a 20MM col as well for cordless hits, possibly before the Electric Sandcastle. The EC was based on a hybrid heater that I created a few years ago. The concept was for an extremely affordable budget friendly vape, but I never released it as it didn't have the intense flavor profile I was looking for. Cloud chasers would love it though.
As for more ZXLs, not really sure there's enough funds or interest to build more of them outside the few I have left in stock. I'd probably have to do another preorder to make it happen. The idea was to offer a great price from these recent preorders to build interest in these devices and my company, but I'm not really a lot of new interest. Last week I didn't sell a single thing for the entire week so I'm not sure the brand awareness is truly improving lol.
The wireless ZXXL is still on the table but I guess I'm a bit skeptical to invest more into dry herb products for fear of it tanking the business or sitting on something that nobody is buying. I'm just not super sure of how popular the wireless desktops actually are, people say they want one; but it's hard to know if it's enough interest to truly make it worth finishing. Maybe I'll do a preorder for them, they were supposed to launch at the same time as the ZXL but I decided to hold off and keep working on the design. I think it's improved now than earlier iterations.
I'm ordering half as many ZX's this time as I normally order from my manufacturer because I don't really know if I want to keep selling desktop vapes; but these new ones should be really sweet
I'd like to sneak some other prototypes into this run since I didn't have the opportunity last round.
I might open up ZX preorders again to help raise funds to build some new ideas to try.
I've dropped them on tile before when packaging them, was always fine for me.
I did manage to break the joint off one trying a different coil installation method. It wouldn't experience that type of force under any normal circumstances though.
The ZX can hold around .2 and the ZXL can hold around .5
Depending on the density of your botanicals of course; but that's an approximate capacity.
Hope you've been enjoying the ZXL and sleeping extra well! Much love as always my friend and thanks for the opportunity to be here!
Thanks so much for rocking with me and I'm super stoked to have another happy customer in the Z-Tribe! My apologies for the delays, I'm actually still out of town so I apologize to anyone if my communication has been lacking, I got some pretty bad news last night and so it might be a few days before I'm back online.
The ZX heats up quite fast for a desktop so it's super easy to turn it off when you're not using it. Glad you're already experiencing the supreme efficiency! I genuinely feel like the ZX literally pays for itself for anyone that vapes daily. The actual convection thermodynamics at hand for the ZX were inspired by the way a joint simultaneously burns+vaporizes.
