I think the Pax is pretty efficient and I do not find it eating my herbs quickly. There must be something you guys must be doing something different.

One thing I like about this forum is being able to look back at history unfolding. There's a narrative of discovery, discouragement, and renewed enthusiasm in these 183 Pax pages. It seems to me that at first there was enormous excitement about the Pax, a new frontier ... but this was followed by weeks of posts about the problems: sticking mouthpieces, faulty temp lights, etc. Dark days. But then, led by a number of great explorers (jamband, willieR, Pakalolo, Dammit, and others) we figured out that it all (apparently) came down to one issue: cleaning. Now it seems that we've figured out how to clean the thing in a reasonable way and all is good again. Very cool! I wonder where the story goes next....

One fully packed oven on low with multiple stirs lasts me an entire work day. On my way home I usually bump it up to medium to get a couple more hits and the rest goes with the ABV stockpile.

I'm pretty agitated, had to order a new mouthpiece from vapeworld. I ordered it friday night expecting it to be shipped saturday and have it by Tuesday or Wednesday at the latest. It ended up not getting shipped saturday and got shipped late today. Expected delivery is friday. Kind of pissed its going to take 6 business days to get to me 
I have a Pax on order and according to the tracking number it has arrived in the UK already! So not long now til i can put this thing through its paces.
I made sure i checked with the dealer that this was a 100v - 240v edition and not some old stock knocking about. Am i right in thinking this is all i need now

I just feel that I need to start at medium. I don't get much vapor production on low, maybe it's due to me being a higher temp vaper. I have to pack at least .2 to get a good session, and I always finish on High. So one pax session is about .2 for me. In the beginning I was using .25 but I just couldn't sustain that, but that gives even better Clouds.
So to me, the size of the bowl, and the nature of how I vape. I feel I must use it in one sitting. I can't come back to a non-fresh tasting vape pack. Maybe that's my problem.
I try to keep it to 1g a day, but sometimes I go a bit over and can hit 1.5g.

Went to my local smoke shop aka Space Station Glass and they sell the Pax!! Its weird because right after I told them they should sell it he pointed to a sign right in my face that I did not see. Im suprised how much Pax is getting noticed!

Tstat lost his screen, and I just asked him about it recently, he mentioned he's still using a standard SS screen he cut to fit the oven, so it's not a total loss, go cut up a screen.

Already did it. I actually folded one up to make it harder for small pieces to pass through. Works great, but I still need an official screen. I hate that it's not in there.

Vaping some good right now. Really learning the curve on this thing. Slow hits is the only way to hit this thing. I also love this because it is easy to click on and click off, when you are done, slide it in your pocket.

I've got a nice little open end crocodile pocket knife sheath that holds my PAX perfectly. I'm looking to get an even nicer stingray zippered pouch for it in the very near future. In all honesty, I would love to just have two silicone rubber caps to stick over the ends of the unit.

I did an internet search for plastic and silicone caps and I could find nothing in the shape needed. Several companies offered to make custom pieces, but I only need 2, not 1,000. C'mon Ploom, how about some silicone end caps to seal my Pax? Colors to match all three models would be even better!
I tried the latex glove finger thing, they slid off too easy in my pocket and were too easy to punch holes in, releasing the odors I personally love, but others seem to find the scent upsetting, making them feel the need to call local law enforcement.

I have the old style LB brush and I extracted my spring...cleaned spring and the area it sits in very well and that solved the fiddly temp light/connection issue I had with one of my Pax. Great tip!! Kudos!
