I created an account just to help Terp, lol.

That conduit you see is what the romex wire is ran in that powers that outlet below that you mentioned had a blue box behind it when you took the plate off. That blue box is super simple to get out and super simple to replace. They cost maybe $2 at Home Depot. Before you go messing with anything you need to trip the breaker that powers that outlet. Once you have done that, remove the plate and the actual outlet. If you need to completely remove the wires from the outlet you should probably label them somehow so you know how to reconnect them. That blue box is probably nailed to a stud to the left or right of it. You have 2 ways to remove it. One you can use a screwdriver, hammer or crow bar to pry it away from the stud it is nailed to. If that doesn't work you can literally use a flathead screwdriver or chisel, with a hammer and chip the box away until you can remove it completely. Once you have done that you can remove your Pax! The replacement bluebox you get from Home Depot will be slightly different. You will want a retrofit/old work 1 gang electrical outlet box. After you put the new blue box in just retire your outlet, put the plate back on and get to vaping!

Hey have you thought about securing an I-phone and lowering it in so you can use facetime to view the Pax location on another phone?

If you can pinpoint the location it will help tremendously.

You can also rent a gooseneck video camera like plumbers use to snake down in there.

If it is sitting on a crossmember between the studs faced by sheetrock you can cut the hole in the exact location with a pretty dull knife (so you don't cut anything else). A patch on sheetrock is no big deal and once you get the Pax out you can call the contractor to fix it. You could say you were moving something and acc. punched a hole in it. (of course you'll have to make it look like a punched hole and not a cut one )

Also, if the hole you make is small enough, you will only need some (forgot what its called, drywall tape?) Its a mesh tape. And some drywall, and a putty knife.

I think i might kill myself...
got my pax, then i vaped an oven, went out, came home vaped again then went to go put it in a hiding spot on top of a vent in my basement where the ceiling isn't completely done then it fell behind the wall.
somebody please help me, any ideas? I am completly fucked, no money, just lost the pax, straight punched a wall last night and my hand hurts. Does anybody have any ideas to get it out?

You will probably end up needing to cut a hole in the wall. Depending on where in the wall it fell you might need to remove that entire piece of sheet rock. You might just want to own up to your parents about what happened. That would be the responsible thing to do. It is their house after all... before you go cutting holes in it you should ask them.

Otherwise chalk it up to a growing/learning experience and life lesson.

Also, if you decide you are going to do anything related to wall cutting, first use a stud finder to scout it. Not only will it light up for studs but also any electrical wires which might be present.

Anyway... back to the discussion of the PAX. I am semi pondering selling my black version to get a purple version. I really like the looks of it. Although I do wonder how much more noticeable purple would be than black in public situations. I don't often medicate in front of people, so I don't think it would be a big deal.

It would be interesting if they sold the outer cased so you could switch back and forth. That one screw is all that holds the outer shell on. I don't think it would be too complicated to switch. If they did some slight modifications they could even make the covers snap on and off. I would buy purple, green, red, and black, switching them off with my mood. Then when I leave the house you can throw on stealthy black.

bOObs how did they ship your package? Did they give you expedition shipping as well, or just regular ground? I hope you get is SOON, also hope you get the package I sent you. I expect Saturday or Monday it would be there.

i am not sticking my phone down there thats for sure, and to the guy that just signed up to post thanks. I will try to get the blue box out, but i am having trouble turning off that particular outlet(tried a bunch of switches in the basement, but none worked). Just a side note, i don't really care about that outlet working. I don't really want to own it up to my parents for dropping it down there haha.

Now back to the blue box. If i can get that outlet to turn off i would be hesitant to rip that box out, because it will make a good mess. And you are right, it is nailed into the stud on the left.

To the people who got a free Dime Bag case from PlanetVape, is it just me or is the case too short for the Pax. It's a cool little case and all, but the only thing I can think of using it for is putting my old glass pipe in. And with my pax, I don't plan on burning anytime soon.

thank you, now i know that it is close to the wall and on the left side, it helped when i turned that last pic sideways. Now all i have to find out, is how deep that is down. from the top on that little ledge you can see, to the bottom is around 6 feet 2 inches, would you say that it is all the way down?

That one's easy, tie a weight to a string. Hold the string, throw the weight down there and feel for the Pax. Measure the string from the top to the weight, then measure it on the outside of the wall.

wow man this is just such a coincidence. I happened to step on a skateboard and it went flying into the bottom of the wall, and when i reached my hand it there my pax was just laying there!!!

I just gave my new Pax a thorough testing and I'm on the fence whether to keep it, return it or sell it on the forum. You really have to puff on this thing with numerous inhales to get decent vapor. Worse than my Solo without any modifications. If you draw on the Pax without the magnetic top in place, it's easy to inhale. With the top on, it's a bitch. I would think that a couple of very small holes in the magnetic top would greatly improve the ease of the draw. I don't think that someone with decreased lung capacity would be able to use this device to medicate. Any suggestions for modifications to improve the ease of the draw on this thing would be appreciated.

PS - thanks to some in the forum for the suggestions to puff with the cheeks and inhale ect. but I'm looking for a true modification to the magnetic top to ease the draw. I've actually replaced the Pax "screen" with a true screen and it did little to help - the draw issue is with the cap. Is anyone here thinking about drilling a small hole or two in the cap?

I'm tired of having to come up with fixes on new vaporizers that I purchase - especially when they cost $250US. Currently, I'm just not impressed with this flashy new vape and any suggestions to improve the ease of the draw on this thing would be appreciated.

Use the cigar method, taking a puff with your cheeks, gathering the smoke in your mouth and then inhaling. I have no problems with air restriction on my pax at all. I guess it also depends on what your smoking too. So far what I've been vaping has been loose and light nugs so it's easy to pull. I got a little bit of something else that's pretty solid and dense nugs so when I grind and pack that, I'm sure there's gonna be more air restriction. I suspect the people who are having restriction problems are vaping some quality stuff, and I'm very jealous
