A similar problem once happened to me when I left the PAX in the car except the MP popped up slowly. PAX is a sensitive vape, although itcan be left in the cold it is better not to, especially if you dont clean your PAX. If left in the cold the resin will get stuck causing MP issues/ temp light issues. I cleaned it and like an idiot continued to leave it in the cold, causing the MP to eventually get stuck inside. Try giving it a through cleaning (including MP) and see what happens. keep it as warm as possible(wearing gloves when using in the cold, keeping it in a pouch, pillowcase etc)Hi so just was using my pax in my car used it for about 15 mins then went to my friends house and kept in the cold car. When I got pack to the car and popped up the mouth piece the light doesn't turn on or anything. What you guys think the problem could be?
Correct thanks for the tip but that removal process sounds to risky for me, I'll continue using my pipe cleaners to push it out.I think the original post was referring to the cleaning of the screen rather than the removal.
I myself find that a pipe cleaner pushes the screen right out with barely any effort.
Hello. I've been reading this forum a lot over the past few days. I'm really on the fence about purchasing a Pax. Yesterday I had all my cc info punched in at the Ploom site but couldn't pull the trigger. While the Ploom looks awesome and everyone initially thinks it's a great device I'm worried about its' longevity. I'm aware of the mp and temp light issues and how to resolve those. My question is do these problems only get worse the longer you use the device? Would anyone who has had a Pax from launch still order one today if they knew the problems they'd be having today? And does the battery's overall performance deteriorate rapidly over time? Thanks guys.
Just dont see the point in all that padding, i want it to fit in my pocketIf the shoe fits, wear it~
I use mine a lot- been doing a ton of testing on the battery over the last 2 days, havent had one problem, do not listen to this guy when he says one to two uses. Everyone else will tell you this isnt an issue, I ran 3 full batteries worth of packs into my pax and didnt clean it once, didnt have a problem, no lube or nothing.I honestly wish i got the INH over the pax..
if i knew bout the sticky mouth piece i wouldnt of ordered at all, sometimes it takes 10-15 clicks just to get your mouth piece back into place.
imagine if u were trying to medicate very clickly, it should be as simple as bumping the mouth piece up, but no.. now u have to keep looking down to make sure the purple light is blinking and its not stuck on temp light.
im just keeping it real with you, i clean my pax as advised also but after 1-2 uses you can expect the same problems OVER AND OVER AND OVER.
Everything is warranteed for 10 years, I had to send mine back by no fault of theirs and they still replaced it. To be more specific, I removed a locking mechanism ring that prevents it from reopening if you remove it, and they still sent me a brand new one. Batteries are covered. If it shits out on you, get a new one and sell it brand new to someone else, these things fly off the shelf so it shouldnt be hardHello. I've been reading this forum a lot over the past few days. Yeah that's true some strains (especially if they weren't cured enough) can dirty up a Pax mighty fast.Hey happens for me why wouldnt it happen for them? We are vaping much diff. Herbs too so maybe mine can get sticky faster than yours? And i pack my ovens super tight.
Alot of different scenarios but he asked and i responded.

But I also agree with krinkle, one to two uses is too quick, have you tried getting a replacement from Ploom?
what i usually do is jst scrape it with some type of metal pick after its been soaked in 99% iso, or even use my pipe cleaner which has metal bristles on there.. usually comes out shiny and like new.My screen is very dirty. I think I need some new ones...
I tried cleaning with rubbing alcohol but there is still a ton of residue.
Or is there something else I should use as a screen?
quick blast with a torch lighter is what I do I slide the very edge of it into the crease of a key ring and blast it for not even 2 seconds with a torch lighter, you can see the results instantlyMy screen is very dirty. I think I need some new ones...
