Do yourself a favour and research convection vs conduction. That is more important than brand names at this point for you.
so is the PAX the type of vape that you could start a session, take a few pulls and stop... then start again later with same load and not lose taste or meds while not in use? the way i read it, and i may be interpreting it wrong, is that the oven will continue to hold the heat and cook the meds in between sessions a bit therefore losing meds and taste while not in use. please correct me if i am wrong in this assumption
Can someone help me figure out how to get the spring out without buying a special brush? My mouth piece is not getting recognized by the pax body and is not heating up. If i set it to low, and put the mouthpieceback in, it will go purple then stay yellow and not heat up unless i push the mouthpiecedown or to the left.
thanks

I use mine this way a lot of the time. I keep in on the lowest setting for this, you can take a hit or two and turn it off, keep drawing to get the last of the vapor and cool the oven faster, after you press in the mouthpiece. A fully packed load on LOW will go a long way, after you stop getting much vapor, give it a stir, and keep on trucking. Once it gets low on vapor after the first stir, I will set it to MED, stir again, and keep going. Only when the MED setting starts to taste "done" will I put it on high to finish it out. That is the least tasty, but will get some of the higher temp canabanoids.
Thought you guys might like what I did with my Pax decal. The Pax is probably why I didn't have my goggles off my helmet!
I thought you were going to do some epic move and pull your pax out for use when you jumped out. Damn.
On the back of my helmet before I jumped, sorry, I should have pointed it out, but it was kind of like 'Where's Waldo'.Yeah I must have missed it, where was the Pax logo?
So I posted the other day that my Mouthpiece came and got stuck immediately... well I was able to pull it out and after some more cleaning of the spring area/ air path I was able to wear in the new mouthpiece. The first time pulling it out took the most force, and then it slowly got easier and easier each time I pulled it out. Now it is pretty much functioning like a normal mouthpiece. At first I was having trouble with the temp light but for some reason it appears to be recognizing the connection now. I was having a shitload of trouble with everything in the beginning but now for some reason my mouthpiece has been working better than ever.
New Problem: My temp light button keeps on having issues. Every once in a while if I try enough it will randomly allow me to push it down and change the temperature but for the most part it seems un-pushable. It's weird because the temp light button will randomly work and allow me to push it and then all of the sudden it will be completely stuck and not move for days. As of right now it isn't really an issue because I only use this thing on High for the most part. But I really want to have full function of the device.
It's really been working no problems the last couple of days or else I probably would be trying to get a replacement. I remember last time my temp light was completely stuck it started moving again on its own a week later or so. In all honestly as long as these are manufacturers defects I'm really in no hurry to have it replaced because I know I can always use the warranty. I am a bit weary though of keeping a $250 vape that is having such vital-internal problems. Everything is going well now but I know the next time I turn it on could be the time that it goes straight to templight and I am stuck vapeless until further cleaning...There is a point where Ploom will instruct you to clean it in ways that can potentially damage it (put iso on the MP and "actuate" it in the air-path), before they will move to having you send it in, for any of the problems that are resolved by cleaning, unless you become insistent/persistent about returning it, which can potentially get iso in the temp button. I am not going to say removing the spring is bad, but I don't have any desire to do that with mine. I simply clean around the area when I need to. Hopefully removing the spring isn't creating problems for anyone with warranty issues, but I can see the reason for concern about it.
future: I also had trouble with the new style mouthpiece being difficult to remove, esp. compared to the first run. It seems to hang on to it more, and I have to use a bit of force to pop it out sometimes. If my temp light were stuck, I would send it back, but I feel for your situation, you have been jacking with this for a while, and I know patience can run thin. All BS aside, I can honestly say the few quirks I have with my pax do not outweigh the pleasure I am getting from having/using it.
