Thanks! Will Google.

Nice. Lines could be more streamlined, IMHO.

Quick question that I hope somebody can help with: one of the original batteries that I got with my Palm 2.0 has died and no longer charges, I purchased some 2400 NiMH batteries, peeled off the label and tried to use them in the Palm but they would not work. There was some glue on them which I couldn't really remove, would that have hindered the heating? I can't recall now if they were Energizer or Duracell.
Also, anybody got some quick and easy tips for cleaning the internal mesh screen, mine is starting to gunk up a little bit.
I actually love this little Vape, I purchased this and around a month later got a Pinnacle Pro. I have since sold the PnP and kept the Palm 2.0, it is just so stealthy.

You can remove the glue using something like WD-40 or ISO. I wouldn't have thought it would stop them from working but then I can't think of any other reason why they wouldn't.

I'm not sure which screen you mean. The top screen is easy to pop out and soak in ISO, although in all the time I had my P2 I never needed to do anything more than brush it. To clean the heater screen, hold the P2 upside down and brush with a small amount of ISO. The reason for inverting it is to stop ISO from dripping into the unit. After you brush it, heat it up for 30-60 seconds.

Thanks for the response, I'll take the main mesh screen out and try to give it a wash with ISO or something similar, it's a little bit gunky so a brush isn't going to quite cut it.
No idea why the batteries didn't work, might just have to order some MFLB Glyph batteries but it's much easier just picking something up from a local shop than having to wait on batteries coming from an online vendor.

The Magic-Flight glyph batteries will overpower the P2. You will have a lot of trouble avoiding combustion.

I was told be a well-known UK-based online vendor that the Glyph batteries would work well in the P2?!?
If that is not the case could anybody provide a link to a replacement battery that I would be able to use? Thanks to all in the thread for the help so far.

I'm just relating my experience. Perhaps that vendor is assuming they'll work because they are great for the LB, but the glyphs turned my P2 into a lighter. 2400s worked best for me. I used Powerex Imedions, which should be available online if not at a local vendor. I think, however, you should figure out why the ones you bought didn't work. Are they too loose, for example?

A page or so ago in this thread, the rude kid posted the 2500 mAh Tenergy to be a good match for the P1. & P2. A $ fifty/per, on FleaBay, I believe....

Those are the ones I use and they work well for me. Gonna try the 2400 Imedions that Pakalolo recommends next.

This is what I want, yes?

The batteries I have are Duracell Rechargeable preCharge AA NiMH 1.2V/2400mAH, I would have assumed that these were appropriate?!?
They certainly don't feel too loose, if anything slightly tighter than the batteries that came with the P2, I will remove the labels and all glue from another one and see if it is any better.
At least I have one working battery, actually had a great sesh with my P2 last night. Was given a bit of lovely Thai Stick, I'm a sucker for the classic strains. I love the heritage of a nice bit of landrace Sativa or a piece of charas and I find vapes really get the most out of these classic, unsullied varieties that are not as strong as modern strains.

Those should work just fine. Since the P2 works then it must be the battery, so I guess you need to clean them thoroughly. Good luck!

I always liked my P2 but it went to someone who liked it even more than I did, and who would get a lot more use out of it too. The flavour is excellent. I've tried only one or two other vapourizers (FlashVAPE, Hammer) that were in the same league.

About to grab some WD-40 and Tar and Glue remover to try and clean them up properly, fingers crossed that's all it takes.

I did have a Pinnacle Pro as well, but I sold it and kept my P2, it is just so much more discreet and when you get the technique that is right for you it has a lot of potential.

I can report that simply removing the glue has worked perfectly, the batteries are MUCH more effective than the ones originally supplied. Didn't even have to use WD40 to get the sticky stuff off, I just let it sit for a while then rubbed it away with my fingers

I purchased two batteries from Radio Shack (same specs as the Tenergys but a different brand ) and they didn't work. I'm sure it was my bad, or I probably got the wrong ones.

I'm glad I stuck with the Palm. It's a great vape for keef. It does take some practice and getting used to though, but I'm glad I didn't trash it.

btw, do the MP tips keep falling off the Palms for anyone else, I spend more time looking for them, than toking from them.

Now have clear tape to keep them on.

Found an old Leatherman multi tool case to keep my Palm2 on the go:

Two elasticsized wraps on the sides keep two batteries handy, and inside, there is a little slot to put a small slim rectangular container of herb....

My MP tips fall off sometimes but generally I use the Palm without a MP at all (unless Im messing around with the flavored ones). Easier to slip in pocket and I think it gives you a teensy bit more control over your hit, could just be me imagining things though. Speaking of hallucinating- kief tastes oh-so-nice out of the p2! It's always in my pocket, on my desk, in my glove compartment...

Nice case btw Stark!

Went "natural" one time, when I couldn't find the blessed tip, but I felt so nakked without it, said a few Hail Marys when I did. SSs-shiver me bottoms!

Funny you should speak of kief, ever since bush invaded the god fearing towelheads, I have been hard put to find anything of the kind, except Kind.

Hallucinations? Who, me? Must be post traumatic orange-barrel lsd !flash! backs!

Guess I should mingle more. With the exception of the cat and dog, I find I prefer my own company.

&, of course, FC:rofl:!

So I bought those Tenergy batteries that you see above. Stripped the skin off two and charged them. They fire barely, can get one whispy hit, and then die. I charged them a second time overnight. Same exact thing.

Anything I might be doing wrong? Do I need to charge them multiple times for first use, or did I get lucky and got a dud set?

That really Blows Dude. I don't have any answers to the problem. Maybe a different charger? mine charge fine on the palm and mflb chargers and take a little longer on the nitecore charger i have. But mine crank out the power.

Did you clean them off well when you removed the plastic skin off 'em and are you sure it's making contact on both negative and positive poles ? thats all I can see that would be wrong on the users end of things.

Wish i could be more help.

:peace:

They don't need to be charged multiple times and it's unlikely you got a dud set. I think RUDE BOY is right, you didn't clean them off well enough. Use some ISO or WD-40.
