You can order Mike's "Vape Adapter" directly from his website. It is essentially the angled 14mm Male adapter he sells here:

However, I had him make the 9mm "vape/whip" tube half as long for portability and well for shear clumsiness sake. You can just add a comment to your order and he will customize one to suit you if so desired.

I had him also make me a flattened mouthpiece from the same 9mm glass tubing the Vape Adapter uses. Changed the whole Magic Flight Orbiter set out and it makes for a much nicer session (IMO).

I cannot say how much I recommend getting one of these carb adapters for anything that you invert a vape for. While you don't want to park the vape in anything, having to remove it constantly caused problems with the bowl cover coming off. The added carb makes the pieces so much more enjoyable that I'll use these types more than I had before. If you use any of these types, this really improves the experience. Plus, I have noticed in my couple Chinese pieces that the joints aren't always that perfect. In this piece in particular the EVO would stick a bit. Comes out Mike's piece smoothly every time!

Wow, looks excellent!
I ordered a 14mm for my orbiter, and a 18mm for my fc ufo and fc 187-v2.
Can hardly wait, no more blisters on my fingers from lifting the Enano ;)

I also ordered a vape adapter for the orbiter because the original tubing with the orbiter feels to tight for me to use with the draw restriction the Enano already has.

I have been looking at getting one of these for a while. I usually use a claisen, but there are situations where the claisen is just too much and this guy would be better...

Question Added: Does the 10mm plug seem at all restrictive when you clear it? The claisen I am using is 18mm and the airflow is nice for clearing, but I don't know how much restriction in flow a 10mm would provide. I don't have anything 10mm to play with.

@cybrguy It's not the big blast of pulling an 18mm slide, but it's still very close. I don't find that it's restrictive and while I thought about requesting a 14mm carb (if that's even possible) I like the size, airflow, and while it clears maybe just a hair slower, overall it's great.

Edit to add: for science, I did a series of tests pulling the 10mm carb and clearing three times, then doing the same with the 18mm joint. With no real science behind this I say the 10mm air path seems 10-20% less flow, which is still just fine. I would recommend this to anyone.

Thanks. I think I may go 14mm when I order it, but 18 would be too big for an adapter that size I would think. Mike uses 14mm plugs elsewhere so I'm sure they're available.

I've been wanting to get a stem like the one pictured above, but with the extra carb hole facing down
It would be so awesome to use that with my do 20 and wax pens!!!


Or maybe 18mm male to 14mm female adapter that stands 3"1/2 tall, and has a 45 degree angle to it. This way, i can just pop it on my bubbler and slip my pen into the 14mm female

I bought a few adapters from OGB recently. A 18mm m/f, an 18mm m/m, and an 18 mm m/f with a 14mm carb. The latter was just a slight customization of what is offered on @Oregonglassblower's website. All I did was request what I was after in the comments field when making the purchase. OGB was kind enough to make the size change without any additional charge.

I love all the adapters I've gotten from OGB. Everything just works great. I love this carbed adapter. I bought it in anticipation of my Zion's arrival. However, I just find that it makes the vaping experience better and different for all my vapes. I've really enjoyed it with the Herbie and Underdog, and can't wait to use it with my EVO, and of course, the Zion when it arrives.

Mike, I made an order on ArtFire for two 18mm WPA water to whip glass adapter, I need them both to be able to fit DBV/SSV whips. I sent you an email through ArtFire.
