Dear fellow FC members, I think I need your help!
...May have been reading too much and am a bit confused regarding which vape to choose...
I want a fully 'portable' solution, for vaping 'on the road':
I already own a Solo, which I love and plan to upgrade as well (stems, etc). But I don't wanna risk losing unit/breaking stem or attracting unwanted attention from the wrong crowd (i.e. dodgy people at clubs, etc).
For example, I will be travelling this Easter to a place where its ok to fly a vape in and Police are pretty lenient towards tourists and pot, but its still a rather rough place and vaping out on the corner with a $300 vape may not be too wise...
SO, my initial idea is to get a heavy hitting 'portable desktop' unit for say, the hotel room/relative's home and a 'battle vape' for going out and about and occasionally for clubbing, concerts, etc. As well as using the Solo for a 'middle of the road' option for vaping during day time, for example.
Technical requirements?
It really has to be able to handle Ice-o-lator/Moroccan type hash well. (yes I am aware of the cotton trick, but can't mess this up or I fear I will relapse into combustion and can't tell in advance what type of gear I will get either). Some of the places I travel to only have this type of stuff available.
I have been looking at the Minivap/Mighty for 'static' use. Am pretty much sold on the first one.
For 'battle vape' category it is a lot harder...
Have looked at:
Imag +: This one would be ideal, it seems like a nice build and could afford to lose/break it.
Are new versions any good for ice-o-lator?? I believe I read on the dedicated thread that new models don't come with the oil cart adapter anymore?
Haze: wouldn't it be too 'nice' for the trenches?
Flashvape: idem?
Persei: Don't wanna risk clogging the oil cart; does only oils from what I have read, right? Maybe too nice as well but may pass as a cheap e-cig??
Financial requirements?
Well I'd like to keep it as cheap as possible, but want a quality solution above all. That's why I thought of the MV/mighty and a cheaper vape to go along...
Sorry for the long post, am really at a loss here, since I can't try any of the aforementioned vapes...
Any kind of help will be greatly appreaciated!
Cheers!
