Discontinued Omicron Vaporizer for oils

Could someone please explain the advantage of upgrading to the HVD 7.4 Omicron?
I'm mainly interested in buying the Hercules for 3.7V since that seems to be the only Herb device for the Omicron v2 so are there any solid leads for the 7.4 to have anything like that or is it just to have more clouds for the oils? Also if anyone has time, could you explain to me how the ohms for the 7.4 cartridges are compared to the 3.7 cartridges? (pretty much which ones to get)

Can't wait for the 3.7v Herc Cart, i had pre-ordered the 7.4v from planetvape but cancelled as it sounds like the 3.7v will more fit my needs because I prefer to vape flowers.

Just so you know the 3.7 will only vape flowers, no oil (unless things change). The 7.4 will do both it just does oil better. Just throwing that out there.

Thats not totally true. It works just not practical to have it on the Omi yet. The part we use to make it work only lasts a few weeks.

As I said unless things change. The last we heard on the subject was this

1. The herb is placed around the heating rod.

2. The power required to run the 7.4v for herbs takes some practice to keep it in the range for vaporization and not combustion. It just a little more tricky then the 3.7v version. We would love to share all our information on it but every single piece of info we put out other companies are using in their instructions case in point on your cartridges, soon as we changed loading no more then .6 at a time and inhaling before the button is pressed and keep inhaling after you let go of the button. Sorry but some information i wont give out.

3. To use the herc with the hammer top takes practice leaving it on will burn your oil.

4. Once again 3.7v can not vaporize oil because of its limits.

See number 4 where you said 3.7 can not vaporize oil? Other than this all we have heard was you were working on it, still no definitive answer. You did say later that you got 3.7 to work with oil but only on persei 3.7 with pass through. So my post stands up, right now unless things change

Trust me your post stands up, just saying we got it to work on the Omicron without a pass through. Its just not practical to get it done right now.

That's great news. Let's hope something changes so it does become practical for the Omi, because that WILL make a lot of people very very happy.

I wasn't trying to step on any toes I just wanted to let people know that as far as we on FC understood it wasn't working for oil on the Omi at this time.
Just didn't want anyone to order expecting it to do both and find out it may only do one. With no returns available people could get extremely upset

understandable, thats why it says herbs only when we release it next week.

Could someone please explain the main advantage of having the 7.4 HVD upgrade for the Omicron? I really want to know what I'm paying for before I buy it so that I don't just waste money for something I don't really need or if its really actually something I'm missing out on.

The 7.4v allows you to run a 4 or 5 ohm cartridge on the omicron, and also gives you a mini tube to turn your Omicron into a Minicron.

Im not that bad...
I have an HVD and i have noticed my button goes dim pretty quick. Has anyone else noticed that or is it me?

Sure, try Planet Vape, already in Canada and a strong supporter of D9 products and this forum. They've got a lot of my money already, I'm sure they'd like some of yours to go with it......

Sorry for asking all these noob questions! I'm guessing that having a higher omh cartridge would make it create more vapor but have a shorter duration of the cartridge life, right? So basically it uses more of the oil efficiently but will not last as long? Whats a Minicron for?
