Discontinued Omicron Vaporizer for oils

I'm afraid if you can't melt it with a lighter on foil and evaporate to a residue free spot you're not going to be able to do more than foul up a good cart. I did this with a $50 gram of recommended taffy from a well respected Dispensary. It not only has to melt, but has to get thin enough to wick up into the wick at the bottom to reach the vaporizing element.

Doesn't sound at all like the waxes I know. Is it clear when melted? It should melt into a free flowing oil, like peanut oil is at room temperature with little effort.

i took a bit on a end of a needle, and put the lighter to it. it melts quickly, and easily, but it isnt super runny like peanut oil. more stickier. and vicsous. after it cools for a 1 sec and i touch it, it get sticky like caramel. should i stop loading the rest?

I'd go with the foil test. You really want to see if it evaporates off leaving basically noting behind. Anything that gets left will eventually foul the heater inside even if you get it to feed and vape correctly.

its labeled as a Co2 budder. yellow in color. the cart still works but i only taste left over PG. should i keep vape to see if i can taste the stuff i loaded? or continue loading the whole gram and cross my fingers?

venice medical center. its melts down first, with more heat it heats into an oil that drips, but i think its to hot for the cart isnt it? i tried putting some on a needle and letting it drip in but thats a bit cumbersome.

i can load it up little pieces at a time, but just worried it might be too thick to drip down to the heating element once i do get it all in.

There ya go ,now when drawing ,don't be concerned w/ leaks/cart degeneration ,so you can push 'em 'til

that finger on lower 1/3 starts to [LMR's high-drain controlled loading response] ~ BTW ,ya wanna

charge 'til green flashes red @ 60 sec intervals (fully charged)

I am still waiting on my v2 as well but I have to ask, did you charge the battery before doing comparisons? A full battery is pretty noticeable ime

Nope... But I just tried a comparison and it seems to have solved the perceived issue.
There are alot of variables, and not all of us are technocapable ;-)
Once the learning curve is balanced out - I think it will be an easy transition to v2 and beyond!

i think my wax is toooo sticky and thick to load. its light in color, and holds shape, but crumbles into sticky pieces. when i try to load it with the fill tool, it barely melts, and just sticks everywhere.

tried loading little nuggets in, but i feel like it wont get hot enough for me to hit it, or for the wax to drip down to the heating element. should i stop while i still have half of it left, or try to load all of it and see how it goes. lol

I had the same problem and all it means is your stuff is crap! Yeah you might not believe me but that is what is going on i had the same problem i would heat it up and nothing just stick and bubble and not melt plus check the cart before even loading anything into it! If you dont see the glow when holding the on button on that means that cart is fucked and you will just waste your time. So i found like honey oil. hEAT THAT UP JUST A LITTLE AND IT POURS RIGHT IN THE FILLER! Just wanted to share

So i purchased the new 1.5/601 cart and it was weird the cart after being filled like tasted like a car part and made me feel sick!!!! So i filled my old cart and the taste is fine and no sickness feeling =/

Did you buy the carts from their website or a dispensery? They changed up their washing procedures at some point in the past.

Only prob u mightv encounter along the way is no lite at all ~ don't panic ,it's prolly not a dead

NO WORRIES ,these batts can take a lickin' ~ if cycling too fast ,might consider upgrading

batts and/or pre-ordering an 'O-PHOS' ~ my alternative avenue for non-stop ,party mode

New ones from delta9vapes.com or planetvape.ca should be pre-washed of any oils and taste and I think they are also going to start pre-oxidizing the heater (they heat it up a few times so you get even less heater taste)

hello everyone!
first time posting. i finally gave in after months of hesitation and picked up a omicron v2. it sure is a great little device but i do have some questions for the more seasoned/veteran users.

for my first fill, i loaded up the 2.4 cart it came with, with a 0.5g cap of PG. i had vapor instantly, and was blowing clouds all day. near the end of my day, i noticed the clouds were thinning.
i would take 3-4, 5-6second pulls in a row (with 1-2 sec button release in between), give it a break, and pull again. Now that i try to take a hit this morning, im getting barley any smoke and can see the orange glow of the heating element now.

i guess i just wanted to get some feedback before i go ahead an load it up with a gram of budder. Am i hitting it wrong or burning off my PG? i had it stored upright all day, so i know the oil cant have collected on the sides, but i did notice some oil on the bottom of the mouthpiece, but no clogs.

is it safe now to load up another gram? or should i play it safe and start with half a gram? Also, any tips on maximizing efficieny and potency of hits? i have a very high tolerance and need big hits, but also dont want to burn through or waste anything either.

all in all, i guess i cam satisfied with the product. its only been a day, so i cant wait to get used to it more and for my experience with it to get better and better!

Welcome. Likely. you went through the PG. IMO you only get 30-40 hits of 1/2g of PG versus a lot more with earwax. Sounds like nothing is wrong you just emptied the cart.

Great, I saw you got it going with the C02. Yes the C02 wax takes some heat to get rockin. no your not gonna hurt the thing.

Doobies- The taste is the heating element oxidizing and setting into the wick. With the high power carts( I.e. every cart but 2.4 ohm), you need to dry fire them for 3 sec 5-15 times with 30 secs in between each before you fill it the first time. The cleaning process was fixed a while back, and shouldn't be an issue. As for eBay, purchases will not be under warranty(carts aren't anyway). With that known, Delta9Vapes has been good to me, usually on my doorstep in the Midwest in 2 days(cheap shipping), strait from the source, and great customer service. BTW, I had a lot of taste issues, but have had none since THC figured out the pre-fire deal-e-o. Also, he is working on a way to implement it(pre-fire, or pre-oxidize) into production so we don't have to deal with it.
With the cart u filled, when u add more, or empty and add fresh, it should be better.

Didn't think there was a difference till I was in the swing of thangs...V2 definitely is giving me satisfying hits, I feel it's more efficient. Don't get me wrong you can put out with the v1.xx, but you gots to be a little mindful in order to achieve same results...In terms of it being efficient, I feel like I'm getting fuller hits (feels complete). Could be also the new mouth piece, the meds, contact area of not having to take the cartridge off of the threading (when storing it, i just leave the unit as is and just remove the battery and is stored up right). OR it could be my method; I'm counting to six, so it might be your five, or another's seven...Then the charger: remember to iso them threads v1 users...Thinking the honeymoon is over, I'm bout to be out and about with the v2; be in the east bay to Sac for Holy week...Vape on FC bros! Right on DubCRider for the Cali-hospitality... Delta9Vapes is definintly tried and true!

Yes indeed Mr.Loblaw! I also ordered the infamous 1.5...the stamped 2.4 cart that came with the v2 is beasting out the gates. It truly is a hallmark moment, the no clogg experience is definitely priceless. I mean I was always in the proximity of my kit that included mini safety pin and lighter (straight rescue rooter on them hard to reach places). With the v.1 it was a habit to check air flow on a cart, cause coming back to a cart that was clear to clogg is Even though my preliminary testing is short, I'm feeling mad confident with this v2...So, till I get more scratch; I can only imagine how the the 1.5 will preform, cause the v2 w/ 2.4 so far...
