I'm not sure if this has been answered yet, but:
When I got my Omicron double kit, I split it with my friend. If we exchange our v1 for v2 Omicrons, will we get two separate Omicrons so we can continue to each have our own? Or does this v2 kit just come with 2 re-chargeable batteries, instead?

yea, i got the x2 kit as well. can i just send in a complete 1x kit and still get the v2 returned? please!??!?!
edit: and if we upgrade to v2 do we then get the lifetime warranty?

I could be wrong of course, but my 'read' of the offer is you need two complete Omicrons, a charger and case. The offer is for 'the kit'.
In a way this makes sense. The original kit has a second body because it too has two batteries and you can't remove them to charge. As I see it, it would be a perfect 'swap' if the original kit didn't include two heat shields?
But that's my understanding, two for one (although the one comes with two batteries like the original)? For guys that split orders with friends seems like you keep what you have or flip a coin to see which of you gets the new vape and which gets to keep the extra (now useless) charger......

damn... it would be really really really friggin awesome if i could hold onto one of the older batteries and trade in one for the new one.
i almost dont think youre right tho cuz what about people who bought a single kit... that was the norm. the 2x kit wasnt even available until this year i thought...

Of course it would. I bet CFG might even have considered that? Not that a guy with a replaced charger and a dual kit might send the case, one pen and dead charger in or anything......
Good point about single kits.
Hopefully someone will find a posting covering this from THC (I recall it, questionable as that is....) or we'll get word from on high directly?
For sure guys wanna know.

This is all I found. THC did not state whether single kits will be accepted. I would highly doubt it. I can see his point on sending in "everything" from the old 'double' kit. He is not in business to "giveaway" products. Just because one may own a v1, doesn't mean it stops working because a v2 came out. The v1 is still a great product. I may bust THC's balls a bit, but don't think for one minute that I'm not hitting my v1 Omicron 'daily'.

Yup, did the same (quick) search, found (only) that same post and came to that same conclusion for I think the same basis. So we can both be wrong together.....maybe.
THC is sure to clear it up and it what I expect to be a logical manner. Tough to be fair to one and all, more so when money (or similar value) is involved. Not a easy job, better he than me.

Those should be a big upgrade over the Silicone stem or Kertong's awesome mflb-stem mod. I've been using the Omicron with a similar tip that came with my faulty Double Agent and have really enjoyed the better tactile feel, airflow and bigger clouds.
We will be adding more tips and also different colors. We have 5 different colors coming in all aluminum, then we are also going to do the same with these.
As for a faulty DA that we cant help you with.
Single kits will work as long as working condition and complete.

Is the original carrying case and usb charger needed for the trade-in? Also should I print out a copy of the paypal email receipt and send that in with the V1? I already pre-ordered but since I don't want to be without my omi for too long when would you say is the best day to send it back so that the wait for the V2 isn't any longer than it needs to be?
