Cool. Somewhere I've got most of a stick of the stuff from the last project, I can start with that I guess. Let me know what size you think will best fit your envelope and needs.

No need to thank me for anything yet, thus far all I've done is offer. And make it your fault, of course. Say, if I could learn to blame George Bush instead, could I be president next? I'll give you anything you want if you elect me......

Say, in a funny turn of events I woke up thinking about this tube thing in fact. Acrylic plastics like this can be thermoformed. Heat them some and they get 'plastic' and can be bent. A bit awkward, but workable. I was thinking it'd be fun to maybe bend the tube so it looped up for easy view when in use, then down so the Omicron could be vertical???

That's good brainstorming on your part about the acrylic's being bent, that would def be useful since you can see what your doing better. I was originally thinking of 6'' sticks, but which that curve tube idea, you could get away sending them up to 8 & 1/2 inches.

To brainstorm on your brainstorm, I read in the persei thread that some people are having problems using the double cartridge because the way their lips are. I wrote that the solution of that should maybe involve making some kind of Y tube and then putting it on both cartridges and then drawing from one tube. This might be possible making a prototype with these Acrylic plastics! We might be on to something here OF :cheers:

Hey, I only have to worry about sending one package, you have to send lots. I can live with a single awkward size...... Clever how I worked that part out, isn't it? See this here 'not born yesterday' on the back of my shirt?

I've watched the two mouthpiece issue with some amusement. I can afford that since I don't foresee getting one personally. I still think the best solution is to file a pair of notches in the user's lips to fit, but there seems to be some resistance to this......perhaps when the battery/cart thing is fixed folks will warm to the idea?

Until then, if faced with the problem myself, I'd probably start with cobbling something up with acrylic drip tips. They solvent cement like a dream you know. And the material is easy to work (which is why we make all those cheap water pipes from the stuff). I'd build up a manifold from other bits and glue the lot together while it was on the Persei (to get the spacing right). I'm thinking 3 plates, bottom has two holes to mate with the tips, second a slot to connect the two, the third has a hole to accept the single mouthpiece. 3 plates a 1/8 or maybe 1/4 thick? Make sense?

You could even make 'em round (same size as the body) which might be fun. And then there's colors.......

Yeh I won't have that issue of my lips not fitting, but I only seen a couple people say anything about it. I suggested the idea to the people complaining about the issue, but they didn't respond,but I think it might be useful to some people. I understand what you mean, and sounds very interesting. Anyway you could take pics of the idea prototype or use ms paint to draw a rough diagram of it even would be kewl. Personally I would go with 1/8, but that's just me. Also for the bottom two plates, maybe have it hook up to the silicone tubes (or a part of it) since it makes a nice and snug fit. didn't know they made colors :haw:

I know that aesthetics shouldn't matter, but i really enjoy the blue LED at the end of other e cig models when its in use. Is it possible to get this same effect with the newer omicron v2?

I'm sure anything is possible,,when it comes to the Omicron v2. Just not yet.

Funny world, that's my major complaint about the Atmos. A very "anti stealth" feature if ever there was one. It also keeps you from standing it up on end (although I suppose that could be addressed), although the smaller size is nice. I guess that's what makes horse races?

Anyway, I wouldn't hold my breath for a light or anything else of the sort on the bottom end, it has to screw off for battery loading.

If I remember right, I think the video of the herb chamber is gone now. It is not a working part yet... Actually, who knows when it ever will be???

Yeah, the LED tip on the end of the Atmos battery bothers me too. But you can use the Omicart on the atmos battery, so if you want one bad enough, go get an atmos battery to use with your omicart. I feel it takes away from the stealth too, at least in the dark.
