A lot "pen style" vapes unless they have a removable battery have and still do use the threaded USB charger but my mistake lol.
Glad to see you continue to move forward with all your products and development, I'm still loving my Hercules I've been wanting to get another AC kit but this V2 is really catching my eye for sure enough for me to wait!
This will work with your upcoming TC mod as well right for the Hercules?

Yes a lot of pens do but a lot of these pens are ecig batteries where this practice is still acceptable because it is removing the extra wiring and building a cheaper circuit board to maximize profits.
Forgive me but I'm vocal about a lot of things and selling a threaded charger style battery makes no sense unless you want to maximize profits and reduce production costs to us this is a red flag as companies who practice this will also at some point start going stingy on type of materials as well.
That is where we separate from other companies. We offer more for the same price, because to me it matters. We at Up Tech want to walk down the street and not have someone say look he's selling over priced ecigs.
When you compare these types of batteries to the Omicron you will see that we don't skimp of try to reduce costs at expense of quality.
We use 304 Stainless as our body while most use aluminum.
Omicron is vacuum plated while others are anodized or coating applied that rubs off in isopropyl alcohol.
We use micro USB to charge while others still use threaded chargers.
We offer the Kiss AC v2 system with a coil while others just offer a cartridge.
We also use correct mAh ratings not exaggerated ratings to sell a product, that's why our mAh is properly marked on our advertising materials.
We use a custom built circuit board that that can apply all 4 power settings to a wide range of cartridges while othe companies batteries can only supply power to a specific cartridge.
Omicron simply is unit designed for freedom of the user not the Company.
And yes it will work with TC Persei when we have it.

But that is why I really love my Hercules and my first AC when I had it because there isn't anything else like it like you said most others are generic china factory units everything else out there is the same but rebadged for whichever company is selling the product.
You guys are actually developing and putting out your own designs/products and supporting them with a great customer service policy.
I can't wait for the TC Persei I may have to jump on one of the smaller Omicron kits though for the AC V2... nvm looked back a couple pages and saw the projected cost of the units.

So I'm guessing the top mp part comes off. With the wider body that makes it very kiss gen3 like. A kiss gen 3 you can swap the coils/donut out of. I'm also guessing the shield/body/whatever screws off and the globe can screw on. Guessing.

Ah I see now, I guessed wrong. I like that design a lot, different tips could be really useful. I liked the ring the globe came on as wax protection, but I did dislike the threads. Can't wait to try this out.

Is the coil still the same size as the old AC. In other words can I order a 5 pack from OV and have it work on this guy?
Yes sir. All Kiss AC coils and OV Alpha Globe coils will work.
Although we have tried hard to get the New Omicrons manufactured and assembled before the CNY i must say that upgrade units will be limited to 60 units of the 900 mah 60 units of the 1400mah and 15 pcs of 2100 units.
Once the units are shipped this monday or tuesday i will then post up the upgrade link and get you guys on your way to the next generation of Omicrons with the Kiss AC v2.

Alright, new stuff Monday. Still struggling with which size to get. I think since I'm also getting the new persei I'll go small/stealth and grab a 900. I'll have to check out the measurements again and maybe grab a ruler. I'm really liking the way it looks and I think those are pretty good watt options for a dual coil.
We should have confirmation this Friday if its on its way or not.
also just took a pic of the Omi v4 next to its brethren. Not sure who but someone wanted a comparison and size chart.
