Hello Everyone, I have a question about my Omicron HVD, when watching G on youtube assemble, I notice that he shows a click on click off feature, was that only on early versions? cuz i just got one from planetvape.ca and it doesn't seem to have that feature , I've only tried it with 1 battery so far (3.7v) cuz 1 battery came dead and I'm waiting for new ones, but I don't think it matters if it's 3.7v or 7.4v when it comes to button feature? G any input here?

I have a omicron v2.0(or something) serial# is 7273 if that helps. I am wondering if the 3.7v kiss cart will screw right in and just work? I never had much success with the original cartridges. Thanks

Skeena, when you buy the Kiss cart be sure you get the one listed for either Persei or omicron (NOT the one for the OHPHOS) if you want it to connect to your omicron. The OPHOS cart has a metal skirt that covers the threads and will prevent connection to omicron with out an adapter. Also make sure you get the correct voltage, 2ohm carts are for the 3.7v battery.

Thanks. I was going to buy them from here http://www.planetvape.ca/kiss-cartridge-3.7-volt.html (also a titanium one) but they do not have the option for ohms like some other websites do. Has anyone else ordered theirs from here? I think I will just leave a message saying to make sure its 2ohm.

I recently got my hands on an Omicron. I fucking love it. It's only a v2 but I am waiting on the HVD as well as a few kiss carts.

I have a question, tried to reach out to Gary but haven't heard back yet.

Once I get the HVD will that make me compatible with the pass through?

I'm stoked for the power upgrade.

as far as I understand it, yes, once you have the HVD top you should be able to push 7.4v the only limitation should be the battery life if you stack those tiny batteries. I don't know if the newer HVD top have a time out setting on the button. I just got a v2 omi myself, haven't used it much yet, but it's working great so far that I have used it. I really like the Kiss carts over the old style carts. I just don't use large amounts of oil so being able to load a small amount works well for me.

I have 2 kiss carts coming tomorrow. Im excited for those. How big is the power difference with the HVD?

Is there a way to clean the old carts? Just got some honeycomb chemdawg and would really love a fresh taste.

The Core (pass-thru) will work at 7.4v with the Omicron HVD. It is basically a smaller Persei with The Core powering it. I used it while my Persei Top was being repaired. Never skipped a beat with the Hercules SR-71.

I've used my V2 omicron with the core but ONLY set at 3.7v. If you want to push it higher voltage the HVD top is necessary.

I got it in one week all the way across the world using only the cheapest USPS shipping option, very happy about that.

The Mini is fucking sweet. The little thing is so small that you can use it in situations you'd never dare take/use your Persei in (this for those of us in countries/areas that still live in the dark ages in terms of cannabis laws).

Also, it feels like it's built like a tank... must be the HVD top

You should avoid touching the coil with any type of metal. I use a toothpick in a pinch.

3.7 Ti says "UpTech 3.7v" on the base. My non-Ti 3.7v says "UpTech" on the base. 7.4v Ti says "UpTech 7.4" on base.

HVD and Omicron with the Herc all day long. With the Core(passthru) Omicron HVD is a mini Persei.

I used the Vaseline trick and using sleepin's cleaning method and she's still a bitch to pull on.

Is this normal?

It sounds like the baffles of your center post may be clogged. Use some thin wire, dental floss, or the like and some ISO and you should be good to go. The rest can be clean as can be, but forget those baffles and you'll go nuts trying to figure out what's wrong.

Hello! My Persei recently died, so I need to find a replacement for it. I was wondering if there is much reason for me personally to get another Persei though, since I believe the HVD top now has all the functionality of the Persei. Also, for me portability is a plus.

For roughly the same price, I could either purchase: option 1 - Persei; option 2 - Omicron mini + The Core. Option 1 would have a longer battery life and be able to run 7.4v on the go, but option 2 would possess most of the abilities of the Persei (variable voltage, up to 7.4v) plus portability.

Also, do certain attachments (for example: Nibbers, Bender, etc) require the Persei, or would most (all?) attachments theoretically work on an HVD top plus the Core? I understand that certain combinations are probably not recommended due to lack of real world testing.

Clogging is a huge issue with the okeanos. I used the solo Orings from planet vape and it helps a lot. I used a thick o-ring and a thin o-ring. Thick one is the bottom one. But yes the okeanos is far from perfect.
