I am using the 3.7v on a brand new Omicron 2.5. I have to say I am a little disappointed in the results

There isn't a good herb option with the omicron only. The batteries just don't have the power and capacity, and you need The Core(plug-in pass through system) to drive it.
That being said you can use the 2ohm KISS carts and Omi. The Okeanos is new and also a great option.
For herbs, the persei/Bender combo is the best. The Hercules+Persei with 3.7v black rod also does herbs, but its a steep learning curve and I haven't really sat down and worked with it.
V2.5 is just the newest version of the tops. The electronics have been upgraded to be more durable. Some of them (it's posted here somewhere or ask @THC SCIENTIFIC ) are capable of 7.4v and will work with the Hercules+Core setup as well.
Not sure but a new something we are working on might be it. The golden ticket one would say. Just wait for it and we shall see whats going on in the next month.
I have exhausted the Hercules R&D on the Omicron v2.x as you will need the Core to run it. But this new cartridge might just do it.

Hey guys how much are your LAyG/KISS carts lasting ?
My first one died barely a few days in and less than a gram of oil, and I made sure to take it easy on the button press duration (short bursts).
Did I get unlucky with this cart or is this what I should expect ?
Otherwise these carts are a great improvement on the last cartridge design and even though they hold less imho.. but if they die this fast I don't think $20 is worth the 1 week ride...

Going on week 3 with my 2 ohm. Ive put about 2g through it in that time. Hell I even tried vaping some full melt hash on it (works but isnt ideal). No issues yet. Of course I only do dab sized loads and burn almost all of it off during each use. Ive also given the unit 2 iso baths.

My Hercules cart (3.7V) for the Omicron still works well and vapes herb well.
(only with the Omicron V2).
My Omicron V1 (and a couple V1s I got as a gift not long ago) still work great, and are still my Favorites (I like them better than my V2 Omicron!), although the Hercules cart is for the V2

I don't understand the "no warranty" .
Are there issues with these? I would like to grab a second, but am hesitant now?

This makes me a little sick to my stomach, if only I waited 1 more week!
Oh well, couldn't be anymore satisfied with my omicron, can't wait to test out the kiss cart that should be in my mailbox maybe even tomorrow morning. Then the okeanos release and even a desktop vape that seems to be coming out, stop it w9 tech I'm so overwhelmed. Tax returns don't come for another 2 months, and I have bills to pay, don't do this to me!!!

Well they are selling them half price, would probably end up losing money because people like to be careless and impatient (which is an issue w/ amateurs, esp. with an omicron). They are probably making very few bucks being so generous. Sure there aren't any problems with the devices.
No issues at all, they are just the v2's that are limited to 3.7v but still work. Plus if you do get the warranty it brings you up to the v2.5 price range so everything gets upgraded.

Thank you. that is very good as I am going to get a Persei to run all my 7.4 stuff, so that works.
Does Omicron v2 (not v2.5) take anything other than 14650 style battery?
The cart in the right is a new one I just bought. The one on the left was on I got in February. Both the carts are 1.5 ohm. Is there a difference between the two?
both are the same we just enlarged the slots to make it easier for the oil to go down.
Both take the 14650.

it also takes a 14500 if you use a shortened tube.
or if you have the longer bottom cap you can use the original tube.
Do the clearance ones comes with this, or should I just stick with the 14650's if I'm buying any extras
