Anyone have tips for 5ohms. I thought I did everything normally filling and priming but after my first hit, it fried and wont warm up
I believe the features were added for use with the Hammer, not the nail cart.
We might have a few used ones, but in mint condition, next time you place an order drop a note in it, let me see what i can do.
have you looked at the o-phos? basically the same thing, but warrantied and larger= more battery life. just a suggestionSo this weekend was the last straw for my hvd top, I like it in lv with a long tube for battery life, but it decided to come on in my pocket once again, I look down and see vape coming from my pocket and am uncomfortable burning feeling on the leg and said thats it, I'm done with this thing! I got a 510 to m601 adapter and a variable voltage passthrough battery for an ecig. I'll never use a omicron head again. This thing puts out 4.15v or you can switch it to 3.7 it is allot smaller in diameter, batterys last for a long ass time, it functions as a passthrough with a usb cable, hits waaay harder than either v2 or hvd, its only $25.00, and it is an ecig, so its more stealth. Ill put up some pics shortly. and G, I still have not recieved my new cap for the hvd
It blinks whenever the battery is disconnected and reconnected.
I did however, just discover a fix.
For the 7.4v do this:
Unscrew the (extended) bottom cap from the body a couple times
Drop a metal battery charging spacer in from the top (plus side up, shake it if you need)
Drop your two tiny batteries in
Compress the batteries by screwing the top down the whole way
Now screw down your bottom cap until you feel it snug up on the batteries inside
The fix for the 3.7v long is a bit trickier:
Since the battery charging spacer is too thick
We need to find washers that fit around the bottom cap's center post
I found some great ones that were labeled 10-32 that measure 5.2mm ID and 12mm OD
But anything with a center hole larger than 5mm and a diameter of less than 14mm should work
Now stack them on the center post so the tip sticks out like the charging spacer tip (5 washers for me)
Load batteries from the bottom this time, screw the cap down until it snugs up
If the cap screws down all the way add more washers, you want it nice and snug on the battery itself
Your hvd lock function will now work
no o-pos for me, I'm done.... I have over $200 in omicron tops, tubes, and caps. And still waiting on the small one for hvdhave you looked at the o-phos? basically the same thing, but warrantied and larger= more battery life. just a suggestion

they are all weak compared to the hits you get at 4.2 with the $20piece of chinese crap. Not to mention no pocket scares, built in time out, PASSTHROUGH, working lock mode, variable voltage by button click/not fussing with batteries and spacers to get the desired voltage, and its usb charged.
I read a few pages back that the HVD tops are going to be recalled, so I ordered the $10 v2.5 top. I don't know why there is delay on having us send them back though, if there is a hazard present (i.e. pocket burns) or other possible hazardous situations. I would be calling them back ASAP so more problems didn't sneak in. Either way we will be sending them in at some point, there will be some delay in being able to properly use the HVD top. Why wait and leave room for mishaps? Also wondering how the customers who possibly don't read this forum often will be notified?
Some times the Omicron is not for everyone. I would suggest you contact support to see if we sent out a cap
Dont get me wrong G, I love the omicron, its a keeper.... Just not a keeper in my pocket. And I have opened tickets and pmd you on here too. I tried to order the v2.5 replacment top last week, but got a weird email from you saying my purchase was refunded, because you were having problems with your website. on top of that you wanted $13 just to ship the new top. I paid $130 for my regulated v2, another $80 for the hvd, and now another $20 for a head. Sorry man, I can spend $10 on a cart and $25 for the complete vv pasthrough and have a superior set up for under $40. I will buy the herc carts once they are out. I really like what you have done for the vape community, but please for your businesses sake just try one of these batteries out, they really do kick ass. And I'll hit up customer service again about the cap.

The eGo-t has a selectable output voltage. Either 3.3 3.7 or 4.2v
Depending on how much voltage you want. So eGo-t has roughly .5v higher output,
this is the same difference between the v2 and the unregulated top(v2.5 or hvd at 3.7)
It is very obvious
how is your setup Variable Voltage???
Im not sure if you understand what that term means
I hope it doesn't surprise you too much that this has been done a lot, starting several years back. Many of us (I've tried 5 different models myself) have some good luck with them in some cases, most have found low end units like you suggest not up to the heavy service needed. Their lifetime is short, they often seem to die on the owners without warning. The V1 was built to address some of this. V2 to address some of the remaining weaknesses and respond to customer requests over time.
Notice a key feature of the V2 and Persei is not found on 'better' e-cig supplies, no time out. The typical 8 or so second time out to protect e-cigs and against law suits is just not a good thing with Omicron carts, guys with V1s complained bitterly about this. While I wasn't all that vocal about that problem, it is the main reason I bought a V2 (owning several V1s and a few others already). That and being able to switch batteries when it dies (always when not convenient....). "To each his own" as they say?
Good luck with your unit, but please don't be concerned about to obvious being overlooked. Not only has it been noticed, it's been tried to death.....literally.
