Discontinued Omicron Vaporizer for oils

YEsterday, I made a batch of oil, way too much in fact, But I got to thinking and know there is quite a community of oil lovers here.
I'll prob be good with the couple grams of fresh purged oil on the left, Ill be purging the over OZ of the fresh batch today, but then I dont know how good i feel about doing all tht hard work then handing over what i cannot use to a club at for cheap so they can just mark it up again. If imma sell it cheap, rather sell straight to local patients (Am i the only one that thinks like this?) ..... anyways, getting a list of co-ops together.
What to do, suggestions/ideas/dispensaries that always seek concentrates?

A tough call, indeed. First off, such a list is location specific, where are you? If you're in LA my Bay Area recommendations are useless.
I hear you on the cost issue. Everyone wants lower costs I think. And no doubt many want maximum profit, that is after all why they do what they do. I guess I tend to look at it from the consumer end (rather than supply or distribution). Unless good makers supply products to the dispensary I visit I can't buy them. I'm left with junk or no options at all. That's clearly not a good outcome for patients. I don't envy you your dilemma but I do commend your fidelity to principle.
I just wish I could make your life a little easier by taking some of that lovely concentrate and giving it a new home where I assure you it would be well cared for......

LOL, thank you! I feel very much the same way as ive visited a few clubs in the area, even the highly recommended top ones, and find the quality/consistency of hash subpar. I am all about quality and purity, had some plant bits in my last purchase of oil.
i am in the Sacramento Area, I guess the bay area is not too far to make a visit, but the cost of gas would easily eat up any money i would have made otherwise. But i am still open to learn as much as i can. Would be nice if i was closer

Yeah... so i probably wont ever do this again, because i really was not sure what i was getting myself into, but i bought a pound of some really good quality double sour diesel (got a deal because it was untrimmed) my friend usually takes out the buds to smoke, but i wanted to make top notch, so i just grinded down the whole pound, got about 3/4 lb of buds and this batch was from the first half.
So... whats a good price to sell for? (I mean the cost of butane alone is quite costly,Vector brand single is 6.99-7.99 and 65-75 for a case of 12)

Honestly no idea, but I think it depends a lot on how common bho is up in sac. Here in bay area you can find 70-80% oils for around $30 a gram... sometimes as low as $20
Back in the day when oil was scarce, getting some hash oil easily meant 50-60 though...

oh gotcha, that sounds like retail, and honestly i dont feel right charging THAT much. especially when this is under the medication classification (now, only if we could get the pharma industry to feel the same way...)
For those that have experience selling oil to club, or heard of anyone, How much to sell to a dispensary is a good/fair price?

I have some second hand information that top end oils fetch as much as $30 a gram sometimes in bulk. Typically less. I also understand not all 'best dispensaries' are created equal. Some pay cash on delivery, others string you out a while, some a long while.
Local is probably better. If you get down to exploring the south bay, PM me, I know a couple of managers you might like to contact.
As a thought, you can get your concentrate tested for a hundred bucks.......

We should make our own omicron/persei farmers market... LOL I really would just make a trip out to the bay for the fun of it, plus my bro is in school at berkeley anyways. but id really like to make it more than just fun (would be nice if i had a couple of meetings lined up) anyways, i was thinking 15-20 is fair, but who knows what the clubs are thinking.

I would and do prefer clear AA type, but that's just me. Anything in wax/budder form tends to foul up my carts quicker.
Im just 1 man though, far far away.

that looks pretty awful...... though i know i cant judge a concentrate by its appearance. taste is truth
So there's a lot better deals for butane.. You don't have to use vector. Anything that is at least 5x refined works.. Try power, or an off brand type. I buy cases of power 5x for 35$ and they are cases of 12. And price of concentrate depends on quality.. Mine comes out as proper yellow wax, real chunks. and It wholesale at 25 a g.

im using unmanicured lower branch buds, grinded, one butane pass, throw rest out.

Just recently saw Power butane 7x for the first time the other day... only ever seen 5x.
Think it was like $3 or $4 more
I'd like to see the two sprayed on a surface and see how if they truly evaporate without any residue

wish there were more options in OR for concentrates, I haven't worked the med-circuit yet so my options are what I make myself. Being a patient here you would think I would have more contacts, granted I haven't tried very hard. All the people I do know live in Cali.

thank you for this, after talking with a local headshop owner, (Sam @ Wild Zone - Incredible SHop if anyone is ever in Sacramento, make sure to make a stop here, worth just to meet Sam)
Vector is the same thing as power 7x, the only difference is in the polish of the can. He told me has has visited the facility and they are identical except in the polish of the inside of the can. Because power skips this crucial process, the butane reacts with the metal on the inside of the can.
Also there is a lawsuit on them because they are not accurately labeling whether it is 5 times or not, and supposedly the 5x is not really five times and the 7x is not really seven times filtered...

So if I have a cart full of pure gold start leaking out the bottom big time, there's nothing that can be done to save the cart right?
Just got to reclaim all the oil out the top?

this leak wasnt from over-heating, i had barely used the cart when my omi broke so its just been sitting in one spot, upright, for a week.
Picked it up today and theres a nice oily circle on my desk >.<

not ALL 5x refined are equal.
we made awful, unusable oil from TattooWorks 5x.
it made propane smelling bho that no amount of purging would help.
Update. Sent back my omnicron V2 for testing. Got it back today...and it was basically a technique thing on my part...got good run through on phone on using it correctly with a very very patient Delta 9 guy. Bottom line? SUCCESSSSSSS!! And I am typing this during this "successful" episode. Thanks!
