Discontinued Omicron Vaporizer for oils

New tops come in black too right? The O-Phos upgrade is pretty sweet since you can get 2 O-Phos if you have a Omicron v1 double kit. So if I were to upgrade, I would just send in one of my v1 (w/o case and charger) for one O-Phos?

Its all subjective, 5 second hit, 10 second hit? we say about 15 -20 min life

It is a IMR battery, so its gonna give it its best.

Really G? I think the number of hits is subjective, but we can calculate total run time. Or at least come up with reasonable estimates based on published numbers:

For 2.4 Ohm carts, we need 3.7Volts divided by 2.4 Ohms for 1.5 Amps. 1500 mA. 250 mAh (battery rating) divided by 1500 mA for .166 hours (notice the mA units cancel and we get an answer in hours left over from the mAh part), times 60 gives us 10 minutes projected time.

For 1.5 Ohms we have 3.7/1.5 for 2.46 Amps. 250 divided by 2460 gives us 6 minutes of run time, more or less.

Plenty for most uses, but a spare battery in the other pocket might give you a feeling of more security.

Ophos upgrades are up, V2 upgrades are down.

Do I need to just send in the battery of a V1?

I have the double V1 kit and would like to keep the charger and other battery so I have an Omni while one is in transit and upon receiving the O-Phos send in the other battery and charger

will this work?

For each battery you would need to purchase 1 upgrade, we just need your battery and charger back.

Now take into account to people who need to take only 1 or 2 three second hits, and the fact that it is a 4.2v and it should raise the time a little bit more.

Just purchase it separately and we can do this, but we cant break a shipment apart. To much headaches.

Cool so I can buy a upgrade, send in one v1 and charger, get a O-Phos. Just curious, let's say I wanted to trade my other v1, but since I already sent in my charger, will I still be able to upgrade?

i believe it to be a "battery for battery" trade (+$25 per)

are you upgrading both? (for $50) or just 1 for 25

they should be willing to send them one at a time if you upgrade both, and have you send in the v1's separately. (extra shipping of course) so you wouldn't be without

When did you send your charger?

I think what he is asking is he wants to do two OPHOs upgrades with this double kit, but since he only has the one charger that the V1 came with he wants to know if he can do it without a second charger to send in with the second V1 batt?

As close as I can decipher

I must have been really unclear :/

I have a Omicron v1 double kit (2 batteries 1 charger)
So if I upgrade I send in one v1 battery and 1 charger. That leaves me with one v1 battery. If I wanted to upgrade again, I won't be able to since I already sent my charger in when I upgraded the first time right? Hope this makes sense..

Edit: Now that I think of it.. Why would you want to upgrade twice? But this leaves me with a different question. If I send you one v1 and my charger, my other v1 won't have a charger? I guess I will need to buy one?

just go ahead and upgrade both, and be done with v1 chargers.

And notice the picture shows 280mah batteries... lol

Actually I read it as 250, half the 14500 which is 500. Most you can find are 200 mAh:
http://rtdvapor.com/IFR-14250-32v-14250.htm
http://www.innovapor.com/apex-alpha...r-14250-lfp-3.2v-rechargeable-batteries-pair/

Which makes sense since you only need one set of electronics and two end caps for one 14500 against two in the same space. Add 12% to my numbers if you believe 280, still way under 10 for the 1.5 or 20 for the 2.4. Real numbers probably will reflect closer to 200, current being high and all.

Now take into account to people who need to take only 1 or 2 three second hits, and the fact that it is a 4.2v and it should raise the time a little bit more.

Yeah, but..... If we do the math on total time, hit time doesn't change anything. Six minutes is 360 one second hits, or 36 ten second ones, or 18 20 second ones.... The relative measure is valid no matter.

And having the voltage higher actually lowers run time. Higher voltage for the same resistance causes more, not less, current. This drains the battery faster not slower. Lower voltage is our friend, battery life wise.

So one doesn't change it, the other takes it the other way.

Ok, just to be clear, if I order one upgrade first and just send in a battery then upon receipt of O-Phos I place an order for a second upgrade and send in the second battery and charger. This will be OK?

Might be easier if I just call and ask but thought I would post for others that have the double V1 kit as well.

Edit: BTW thank you very much for this upgrade and for the rest of the great service and products!
