You need to stack two batteries for 7.4v, only way to do it. But the batteries we are using are imr lithium. Those fire bags are meant for lithium polymer batteries like in your laptop and the ones the r/c people use, they are the ones you see all the videos about. Look on youtube for "imr lithium explosion" or something, the closest I could find was some guy shorting out an aw imr and it just melted the wires and killed the battery, no explosion or fire.
Nope, I just take apart my burnt out ones. There have been many small changes I've noticed since I first started taking them apart. For example, the shape of the bottom positive contact to prevent leaks.

I have to hold it in a certain position for it to work its like if the battery doesn't reach the top i wish i didn't upgrade until the new shit came out

agreed and BTW: I just finished a big update to the wiki with new content from the last 100 pages of the thread and new photos. still need more work on the overview section and some additionally editing but we no cover Omicron v1, v2, and O-PHOS in that wiki article and explain the differences of each model. Just gotta write up the intro explaining all the different voltage and cart options and that will be done. Link in my sig as always.

Nice work rufrothy! I was checking out the persei wiki yesterday...pretty thorough. Now only if fresh ones would look their first w/problems.
Guys that's the new tops for 7.4v, the current v2 top is not beefed up like that, but no worries remember the lifetime warranty.

So I have had the same style carts for a while. I believe they are the 2.4 original carts that came with the v1 packs. They have no writing on them. The filler funnel has always fit fine into these carts, but I just bought some 1.5 newer style carts, and the funnel won't fit in right, it scraped some metal off the funnel and I'm scared some of it went into the cart. Has anyone else had this problem? Also the taste of the cart Is a little off too.

Yeah I just went through the same thought process.
It might take a bit to get used to at first, but maybe it would be easier eventually?
But I'm still leaning towards the momentary switch though because at high voltages you pulse more often than you hold it down...
well we look at it this way.

As always it's up to you, but I still think you should make sure pulsing at 7.4v isn't too slow before you pull the trigger...
Please follow directions online, Suite 215 is no longer open. It has been closed for more then a year.
I'm pretty sure there is already an answer for my question, but couldn't find it.. So i guess i diddnt pre oxidize a new cart enough, it still has a bad taste. It's a 1.5, and I loaded .7 of wax that always tastes very good in the omi. will the taste get better? Is there a way for me to fix this?
