oil vaporization

im wondering, as the tittle says about oil vaporization through dabbing, maybe you guys can help me out ?
ok so i have learned that for oil to be actually vaporized ,it happens when there is a tiny layer of moisture caused by by the high heat. the oil kind of sits on top and evaporates .

i am assuming its because the little layer of water keeps the oil from contacting the actual heat source ? so it is because of this little layer of water that the oil gets evaporated instead of burnt ?

so recently i have become interested it the mflb Muad-Dib i think it looks pretty cool, but...

because the oil sits on the screen before you push the battery in to heat it, i would think that its not the same as dropping a dab onto a already hot surface ? and thus creating this water layer for the oil to dance around on and evaporate, and so instead of vaping actually burning ?

could one drop the oil on to the screen while the battery is pushed in to over come this ?

what about other oil vapes specifically for oil vaping are there any that really do vape it?
would it be better to go with some kind of nail and torch to truly vaporize oil ?
thanks chris..

Hey Chris, the effect you are talking about is called the Leidenfrost effect and I believe the oil dances on a film of oil vapor not water. There shouldn't be any water in your concentrate. Anyways, if you want a vape that actually does this try the Vaporbrothers VB2 Multi Converter ($50 discount for FC members) thread and info linked below:

I recommend looking at the Hammer for oils, you can do convection or classic nail style dabs.
