guys I have a bit of a stupid question, I live in Italy where almost all cannabinoids are illegal in some way, in a CBD shop I bought a hash that somehow makes you high, it says that this cannabinoid is called "oh" have you ever heard of it ? Is it safe as a product?

While "OH" isn't a standard abbreviation for a specific cannabinoid, it's possible you're thinking of 11-hydroxy-THC (11-OH-THC). This is a major metabolite of THC (the primary psychoactive compound in cannabis) that is produced in the body after THC is consumed.

Safety is unknown, which to me is too big of a risk to take.

Moreover traditional hash making with CBD flower will produce an illegal product. Both the CBD and the THC will be concentrated and the THC level will be too high to comply with the law.
Therefore CBD flowers are chemically reduced before making hash.
EU legal CBD extracts and concentrates are really doubtful products... I wouldn't use this kind of material.

they assured me that it's natural stuff... so it's synthetic?

Was it the producer or a retailer / shop ?
Because I have yet to meet a CBD retailer that really knows what he sells...

Edit : probably not synthetic but obtained from modifying THC in a lab controlled enzymatic reaction.

Or it could be 10-OH-HHC which is a new take on HHC to overplay legislation in some countries that banned HHC. While I tried that and some effects are indeed present, it’s more of a lab experiment than natural product. I would be cautious using it frequently.

I can't say for sure, but I would think so. Also, I wouldn't trust that they are being fully honest with you. If you could manage to do a secret grow in a small tent, I would consider growing your own real stuff.

Yeah all those new cannabinoids are just research chemicals really...

And made with bathtub chemistry most of the time. This is why I stopped using "Delta 8" THC. And that is tamer than a lot of the newer stuff. It's a shame because I liked the milder effects.

But the reagents used in synthesizing Delta 8 from CBD isolate seemed toxic as hell.
