I couldn't find anywhere else that was doing this, so here it is.
Petitions are the oldest and most enduring form of activism!
Post all petitions here that relate to the betterment of humanity, treatement of innocent beings, legalization/decriminalization of medicinal herbs, generally 'good' or 'righteous' causes and anything else that fits the bill.

Anyone who has a spare few minutes in their day is encouraged to visit this thread and post a cause that they believe needs support and is in the interest of fairness, love, peace and equality, and also to sign their name/email address to petitions that others have posted. Every little bit helps, and even if it ends up being futile at least you spoke up for those who do not have a voice or are being oppressed and unfairly treated.

-PLEASE sign this one. 600,000 animals are victim to a mass live-export to the Middle East every year for their Eid-al-Adha festival where animals are slaughtered for some stupid fucking reason. Only needs 1000 more votes to hopefully stop this abysmal cruelty and stupidity.

Another one that is close to reaching its desired number of signatures. This lab is notorious for conducting brutal experiments on innocent animals such as separating the chemicals of their products and individually injecting each one into animals to test the reaction that it would have under the skin in some sort of side-ways attempt at lessening the negative reactions that their products have on humans.
Their has been footage that escaped the laboratories that showed innocent monkeys being cut open while still alive and animals being spat on, abused and punched. Can not believe that this is still happening in the world..

These are animal rights related ones, but other people are going to have their own cause that they are passionate about and I for one will support each and every one of them if it's something that you feel strongly about! Let's do some good, FC, and may your next vape be all the more potent for your good deeds!

A couple weeks ago i was discussing with a guy who believes alcohol is OKay because it's older (as in more ancient). It turns out he was a "pusher" in his early life...

Please grant Clemency to my father Antonio Bascaro

My father, Antonio Bascaró has been in prison for over 34 years with no prior criminal record for a non-violent, first-time marijuana-only offense all for helping supply a product that’s legal in a growing number of states.

He is the longest serving marijuana prisoner in the history of the United States. Today he is 80 years old. I lost him to the legal system when I was 12 years old. I hardly remember him outside of that environment. My children barely know him.

This gentle grandfather of 8 spends his days in a wheelchair, mostly by himself, reading newspapers and listening to the news in his cell at a federal prison south of Miami.

I signed this, and I hope you don't mind but I shared this at Reddit as well.....this just really struck a cord with me, and I am really sorry about all the lost time with your father. I hope things work out.

Sorry not my father but hit home hard,some background on Antonios case here

These change.org petitions are working.many cases have already been resolved.

from starting the conversation of medical marijuana trials in Australia to saving and rehoming neglected horses in Missisippi.

also.....some victories made possible through signatures in 2014

Michael Lambert's 4 year old daughter Katelyn suffers devastating, brain-damaging seizures. Regular epilepsy treatments failed her – and now, Michael faces charges that treat him as a criminal for helping his sick daughter with medicinal cannabis.

He has provided a medical necessity for her to survive and live well. Something that any caring parent would do in a similar position. What's happening to this loving dad and daughter now is wrong on so many levels.

"I know I am going to jail but if I don't want to see my daughter grow up with half a brain - I have no choice."

Malcolm Turnbull and other States have passed new laws for medicinal cannabis. But it's clearly just lip service if desperate and sick Australians who need this medicine can be jailed for it. We need an immediate amnesty so people like little Katelyn and Michael aren't treated like criminals.

I was in this situation myself. My son Dan suffered terminal cancer, and medicinal cannabis was the only thing that helped the nausea and pain.

As a former nurse - and my husband a former Police drug squad officer– we had to break the law too.

I'm calling on all heads of Government to stop sick Australians being treated like criminals – please pass an amnesty and provide them support through a Compassionate Access Scheme. It is the very least we can do to demonstrate our care for the sick.
