Odorno bags?

I saw this on the local news. Apparently discrete poop storage for the elderly is a growing business! Anyway, the demos they had regarding dogs not being able to smell food through the bags got me thinking as you can imagine.

Now, I've yet to even order these let alone try them, but the news piece seemed to put them in a good light and the product as being on the up and up! It also seems cheaper than some of the more "genre specific" anti-odor bags, which is a plus.

Ill probably order some eventually, but I wanted to throw this out there if anyone with more immediate funds wanted to give it a whack. The only thing I can see being an issue is figuring out a good way to repeatedly open and reseal it. They seem to be geared more towards single use.

These are cool.
Do people think triple vacuum sealing would still be a far more effective option for keeping out smell?

Probably but I want something easy and fast that I can take on the go. I don't have time to vacuum seal my stuff every time i open it.

They are not advertised for food or medical content. http://www.smellyproof.com/ seems to be what you have been searching for. They do the job well and are very resistant, you can even clean them and re use multiple times.

I did see those already but I should note that I don't plan on putting bare herb in there. In my case I want something I can throw my gear in really quickly before putting it in a backpack or the car. Even with Ziploc bags I still can get smell leakage if left overnight or what not. Also the odorno website says they use FDA approved materials.

from the smelly proof website:

Smelly Proof Bags are made from a medical grade FDA approved material that blocks such things as dust, moisture, vapor oil, grease and anything you put in them that emits an odor of any kind. The bags can also be cleaned and re-used while maintaining its odor stopping ability use after use.

So yeah, you can use them for vapor oil LOL (I have a feeling they mean something else :D)
