I've been using one of these for quite a while now. The mouthpiece design, bowl, and storage area all say Flowermate, but the draw is more unrestricted and I was really pleased with the big hits it can deliver. I'd been previously using the HipVap as my pocket vape, and although I still prefer it for easy and stealthy carry and use, the Odin is a lot better at delivering large amounts of vapor in a hurry. No restrictor plate issues here, as with the Flowermate. The vape also does an excellent job of shedding heat without the housing getting hot. In fact, with my use, I've found that it hardly gets warm. The only thing you have to watch out for, heat wise, is the glass mouthpiece, and as long as your lips don't slide down onto the bottom 1/4 inch of the glass, no problem. The battery level indicator is also nice. The HipVap doesn't tell you where the battery reserve is until you see 'LO' on the display.
I don't care for the 5 click startup. 3 would have been better, but it's a minor quibble. A brush short enough to fit in the storage hole would have also been my preference, since this mouthpiece design collects herb on the screen. The screen design (identical to the Flowermate) makes for a long lasting screen, but this size is not ideal for a bowl screen. It comes out too easily when the bowl is emptied, and it may give some trouble on removal if it becomes sticky. Before 1st use, I installed a plain stainless steel 3/8" screen, which stays put during unloading. I get why they supply these heavy duty screens, but I can't recommend using one in the bowl without at least a regular 3/8" screen on top. After a cleaning I used the two screen option to see how that goes. Works well. 2 little silicone o-rings keep the glass mouthpiece in place and these need to stay away from alcohol during cleaning. The Flowermate also uses silicone to secure the glass but there's a lot more of it. IMO these o-rings are the weak link on a vape like this, which needs frequent cleanings to avoid getting all gunked up and parts stuck together. My advice is to buy an extra mouthpiece and I think they should supply about 4 extra o-rings in the kit.
Aside from the o-ring issue and the need for frequent cleaning, I've found this to be a really nice portable- much more satisfying hit wise than my HipVap (although that one's a dream, maintenance wise). If you told me I could only keep one vape, this might be the one. It's the only one I own that can give me both big hits and portability, and I refuse to pay a premium price for a portable.
